We have a Diamond Economy. Players can create shops in our ever expending shopping district. There are no ranks that give special powers, Overpowered items or lootboxes. The only way to get these special enchantments are through hosted server events. So very rare. This means that everything is completely free and follows Mojangs TOS. This also makes this a safe place for under-age people and/or parents or guardians to play at.
Note to parents: This is a safe server for your kids. I made it so my own kids would have a safe place to enjoy minecraft multiplayer. I am on the server daily and I read ALL the chat. Most of our players are between 10 and 18 years old. Staff are able to watch the chat remotely and take action if needed. That being said, I do allow player vs player combat and item keep–sometimes feelings can be hurt. Also, I never ask for money; the server is NOT configured to accept donations. I fund it myself.

SettleScape is a small, tight-knit server with high-quality, open-source configuration, quality moderation, and a mature playerbase. It is a survival PvE server, focused primarily around the construction of towns.
While the server does accept donations to stay afloat, it operates essentially as a non-profit; and all funds earned in excess of the amount needed to stay online go either to improving the server, or as redonations to the plugins that make the server what it is — so supporting SettleScape directly supports the Minecraft server development community at-large.
The server has been around since mid-2019 and intends to stay up for the long-haul. The world is persistent — players can rest assured that their countless hours of hard work will never be deleted. Even in the event that the server goes offline forever someday, world downloads will be provided. The server has an aggressive backup strategy with a separate, off-site server; so even if the server host goes up in flames, your builds are still safe.
