Factions is a complicated game with many different aspects, so it’s important to understand how to play it before you start. The basic explanation goes as such. You claim land, get money, build, declare war, fight enemies, and don’t die. These are the same on every factions server. While joining a faction is not required, it is recommended as it will be much easier with a team of experienced players helping you rather than going at it alone. Each player has 10 power, and the maximum power is 10 times the number of faction members. You lose power every time you die, and you gain power after a specified amount of time. You cannot have more land claimed than power, or your excess land will be claimable by another faction.There are three main relationships in Factions. They are Allies, Neutral, and Enemies. Faction members from allied factions cannot damage each other or claim land from one another. Being allied requires both factions to ally with each other. Neutral is the default status. Neutrals can claim your land but cannot attack you on your own land, take your items, or grief. Enemies are not mutual. Acuteloot – This one adds in literally BILLIONS of new and unique items you can find. There's things such as specially named items, items with particle effects, and a few unique ones that add some fun mechanics to the game. You can find Acuteloot items in naturally spawned chests, or you might get lucky while enchanting.
In addition to the usual server accouterments, we also have an active Discord community where players can chat and hang out. Our in-game chat is also linked to the main Discord channel, so even when you aren't at your computer, you can stay connected! Here, you can chat, share builds, post shop ads, and stay up-to-date on all the goodies and news.

Welcome to a brand new 3 lives hardcore server. This is for adults 21+ not because of any themes but to guarantee some level of maturity. Current couple of starting players range from mid twenties to early thirties.
It's a friendly PvE server where people can cooperate or build alone, blatant stealing won't be allowed but if you lose all your lives your stuff is up for grabs so do your best to stay alive.
If you lose all your lives that'll be it, whatever you manage to leave behind will become your legacy for future players to take part of. If you're lucky there may be an extra life handed out to everyone once a year to give you an extra chance, still not 100% on that yet. Lives will never be purchasable at least, you can count on 0% pay2win if you die you die the same whether you're rich or poor.
Because it's cooperative and hardcore anyone who deliberately tries to trap and kill others will be banned and their kills rolled back.
Since it's running a fresh and custom made hardcore system there may be a lives reset if something turns out to be broken, but so far it's been fairly well tested and unlikely to have any hidden problems. If a lives reset happens the world will not be reset, the map is intended to last and keep its history.

The AussieSMP is an Australian hosted Survival server with a small community of players from around the world. The server is a whitelisted application-based server, if you would like to join you will need to use the link above. This is put in place so that players feel safe that their builds will remain intact and that we don’t have anyone who won’t fit in to the culture on the server. The gameplay is mostly vanilla with some extra quality of life features like teleports, features that promote player trading and methods to protect from griefing.

Many other survival servers modify various game mechanics, one of the main aims of this server is to not change too much of the Vanilla mechanics such as how entities act, villagers, terrain generation etc.

A decently sized shopping area that is filled with player created shops that promotes a feeling of community and helps players easily trade between each other. Players use diamonds as currency within these shops to trade for other items/blocks.

Getting out of spawn and into new lands is easy with the use of a random teleport command which can be accessed by right-clicking the NPC at spawn or by typing /rtp. There are also various other teleports that are made available on the server so that you can quickly get back to your base or check up on what your mates are doing.

The server has a land-claiming system that uses a golden shovel. Over time you’ll gain claim blocks that can be used in whichever server you play in, and when you’re ready you can claim your chests and builds to keep them safe from other players. This is purely an optional safeguard, many players don’t claim their land as the community doesn’t appreciate griefing so players who participate in that are very quickly filtered out of the server.

The survival server consists of multiple worlds which have plenty of new 1.20 chunks in them. If you like long-term survival worlds, the AussieSMP is for you! There are no plans to do a full reset of the main worlds ever.

The server is part of a growing network, so not only are there multiple survival worlds, there is a creative server where players can build without limits or just test their redstone contraptions.
