1. Be respectful. Any disrespect towards another player will result in a warning, and if repeated, a mute. If disrespectful to a staff member, you could be subject to temporary ban.
2. This is a profanity-free server, so no cursing or slurring. If caught, you’ll be warned, and if repeated, you’ll be muted.
3. Do not spam. If caught spamming, you’ll be muted.
4. Use of hacked clients and alternate accounts is prohibited here. If caught using one or the other, you’ll immediately get a permanent username and ip ban.
5. If you want staff, apply for staff. Do not beg for op or staff. If you beg for staff or op, you’ll get an immediate ban.
6. Do not use spoofing, VPN or any other kind of proxy. If caught, you’ll be kicked and asked to rejoin on a non-proxy ip. If you refuse to, you’ll be name banned.
7. No advertising. If caught advertising in chat, you’ll be muted. If caught advertising through building, you’ll be banned.
8. Do not threaten to DDOS the server. If caught doing this, you’ll be permanently banned and blacklisted.

History:
Mountain Pass has a deep history dating back to late-2012.
Eight years ago, the original idea of Mountain Pass was to be a Minecraft Towny Server without any real goal besides to have fun and maybe make some new friends. The server was opened on January 1st, 2013 (Minecraft version 1.4) and was open for four years. In the beginning, we had no clue that it it would eventually blossom into such an amazing community of wonderful people.
With community-driven contests and events such as a Windmill Competition in the middle of March 2013, the Great Ore Tree Hunt on May 1st 2013, a community Ender Dragon fight in the same month and in June the creation of a new spawn, the server was on a very good path for the future for the rest of 2013. Between Febuary to July of 2014 we worked on a new city named Redshire, but it all got cut short on October 24, 2014 when the server was retired due to a high lack in motivation, and an increasing decline in server popularity.
However in September of 2015 there was a teaser posted on the forum of an amazing new spawn. The Return of Mountain Pass happened on October 17th, 2015 featuring brand new custom economy shops, infinitely generated custom terrain and the same amazing community. Although the hype seemed to match expectations, Minecraft was declining in popularity. The daily connected players never seemed to be what it was before and the server eventually dropped into a state of hibernation, eventually going offline after Halloween in 2017.
Now three years later with the start of a new year comes a new spark of intuition and motivation to revive the server, which has brought a lot of previous members together for the rebirth of Mountain Pass. After many long days of plugin configuration, revamping & remodeling old buildings from Redshire, and installing premium plugins, Mountain pass is back. We are a server which has been through a lot over time, and we all have grown up significantly in the past eight years. We’re happy you’ve found us!

There are 3 unique modes on the server:
โญPOLITICAL – this is a unique mode in which you can found YOUR city and recruit people there!
โ City upgrades are very diverse. City buildings are divided into 6 branches: Civil, Economic, Military, Technological, State and Production. Each branch has a wide variety of buildings (they need to be built and upgraded for resources and game coins), which will give your city and your residents different bonuses and advantages.
โ In addition to upgrading buildings, the city needs to upgrade Ages of Development to gain access to new crafts and technologies. For example, in the last “Atomic” Age, residents of your city will gain access to crafting firearms!
โ Also, each city needs to choose its own religion and form of government. They are all different and give different bonuses. Be careful – some religions and forms of government cannot be changed!
I would like to note that there is quite a lot of PVP content on the server:
โIn automatic mode, tournaments are held every day for city residents. There are 2 types:
PVP tournaments (There are 3 types: daily, weekly and mystical) To participate, the Mayor of your city must apply for participation at the start of the tournament in the chat, after which the city residents will be able to sign up for it). What is this tournament? Residents of eight cities will fight in one arena against each other. Each resident will have two lives, if you die, you will immediately appear in the same arena and will be able to continue fighting until you run out of lives. City residents who kill everyone else will receive various rewards.
SPLEEF tournaments – well, everything is simple here, city residents will play a familiar game. And again, the city residents who remain the last will receive various awards.
โThere is a PVP location “Outpost”, in which various chests with resources constantly spawn at a certain time, BOSSES spawn (for killing them you get their hearts. Whoever collects the most hearts in a month will receive good bonuses).
โThere are duels – by typing the /pvp command, you will queue for a duel. When someone else types this command, you will be teleported to a random place in the world. IMPORTANT, you will not be able to type this command if you are not wearing diamond or netherite armor.
โAnd of course, city wars and raids on them.
โค๏ธFriends – believe me, this is only a SMALL part of everything that is in this mode. Come in to see all the delights of our server!
โญGTA RolePlay – This is a game of real life. Here you can get sick if you walk in the rain without an umbrella, break your leg if you fall from a great height, or get poisoned if you eat something expired. You will need to earn a living, buy a phone, an apartment, a car, clothes, get an education and then join one of 6 factions: Army, Police, City Hall, Media, Hospital, Mafia. In each faction, you will need to complete various tasks to promote your position and increase your salary. Everything is built on the interaction of players through RolePlay roleplaying (if you do not know what it is, do not worry, the faction leaders and their assistants will definitely teach you!). Also, all the stores on the server are businesses that you can buy and receive income from sales!
Be careful – PvP is enabled throughout the city (available from level 3), but this does not mean that you can just kill civilians!
Everyone often asks: where to start playing?
– It's very simple, start with quests! After completing them, you will get to know the server, learn the things you need and will be able to comfortably continue playing on the server!
โจVanilla Survival is a unique mode where you can earn DONATE currency yourself – DINARS!
For dinars you can buy various items, upgrades, protection from pvp, cosmetics, runes, change the color of your nickname, buy DONAT cases and even pay extra with your DONAT.
