VinumMC, an old Minecraft server from the old days without any technology! A galaxy in the summer of 1671: A merchant fleet is on its way to Suntown. But suddenly she gets caught in an emerging storm. A smaller one of the ships was badly damaged and has moved away from the fleet. On the ships of the fleet it is noticed that a small boat, with 20 men on board, apparently drifts helplessly has to be handled: Rescue teams grab their small rowing boats, but they had no chance. The boat had drifted too far, and a strong current pulled the ship out of sight of the fleet. After a full two hours the men realize that no one would save them. They were left to their own devices. For many days the men had to feed themselves on what the sea and cargo space still had to offer. There was no hope that they would survive this debacle, the boat also suffered and more and more damage occurred. But on the 17th day the miracle happened, the lookout reported an island on the horizon … Your rescue! They tried to get to the island with combined strength and so they fought their way towards the island. Will they build a new empire and maybe even meet islanders?

Hawksvale is an ambitious project which has reinventing the definition of towny as it’s main goal.
Everything we do, we try and do it in an unique way.
We have town-dependant roles and custom claim pricing system.
The combat is 1.8 combat, which is a favorite amongst many minecraft players,
although it’s 1.8 combat, features such as shields are not disabled.
Features that define us:
McMMO – Which gives you a constant feeling of progression and improvement, even if you’re just mindlessly grinding.
Jobs – They define our economy. We allow up to 3 jobs at once.

The main theme of The Mousetrap is scarcity. At the start of the server (6/9/24) a world border of 500 x 500 blocks was set, and with every hour that passes the radius of the world border expands by 1 block. This forces players into close quarters with each other and creates scarcity in non-renewable items like diamonds and iron, and also makes open space and farmland more difficult to come by. As a result, the economy of items is much more interesting than it would be if you could easily obtain resources by walking a thousand blocks in one direction. It also encourages building tall instead of wide, so expect some skyscrapers once the server gets going. The only real rules on this server have to do with hacking or cheating, theft and killing is allowed, however our plugin system, mainly Lands, allow players to easily claim small sections of land to protect themselves, their possessions, and their builds. As your lands become more developed, you can form nations and even declare war on other lands. The server also uses Essentials Economy, with a diamond standard ($1 = 1d, you can exchange one for the other at any time). This server is relatively new, created on the 30th of May 2024.
The server pack comes from FTB Builder Paradise 2, version 1.20.1, with addons mod that doesn't exist in the original pack. Just download FTB Builder Paradise 2 and then paste the addon mods over to FTB BP2 mod folder.

I created this server with friends but only 1 of them ever join consistently and it feels pretty lonely on here.
