The server is dedicated to develop our custom minigame. However you can now also choose to play regular towny survival with mcmmo and other plugins.

What is ShadeZ?

ShadeZ is most definitely NOT your ordinary minecraft server.
It’s an inspiration to connect all the best survival games, pick all the best features and bring it all to minecraft.
Our server offers you just one gamemode but as an open world based survival, options are endless.

Gameplay

Players will spawn into the map using portals. In order to survive, you have to loot chests to find gear.
Gear can be weapons, ammo, food, medical items, or hardware to build bases.
Bases can be build at pre-defined locations, and base raiding is allowed. Players can use doors,
fence gates or whatever they desire to protect their belongings, but chests are always open.
Money can be used to buy more gear and can be found from zombies or gained from selling items.

Future plans

Idea is to expand the gameplay within the limits of basic principle.
For example we are looking for possibilities to add features like:

– Side missions
– Keys that can give access to special locations
– Enemy AI
– Radiation zones and other special places
– Vehicles
– Custom XP system
and more

Overall goal is to have multiple people working on this project together,
and create something unique. Every player and developer has chance to change the way
this server plays, even at giving ideas and posting feedback at our forums.

GATES is a modpack about the exploration of new worlds and dimensions. To help you with this, mods are added that give you a wide range of weapons and technology. This will help you conquer the harsh and unforgiving worlds you will encounter.

In the stargate series, some aliens were very technologically advanced, the tools they used sometimes seemed magical. To simuate this, there are a number of technological mods and a few magic mods in this modpack.

The best and most fun way to play GATES is on its official server. A vast stargate network has been set-up with stargates built on numerous dimensions and planets. Players are able to explore these new places through their own stargate, or use the public stargate located in the spawn area.

Connecting to the GATES server is super easy! With the server IP pre-programmed into the modpack and a special button on the main menu to directly connect to the server, you can quickly join and experience the modpack and server in full glory!

Come join us at Project of the Day, a small, friendly survival Minecraft community with
plenty to see and do thanks to our array of customized plug-ins, including:

Recently we have just added:

+ Quests with handsome rewards for players who complete them
+ Pocket Games if you’re ever feeling bored!
+ Advance Enchantments for stronger gear!
+ Skyblock for something a little more challenging than normal survival
+ Ultimate Timber for faster wood-cutting

Some future plugins that will be coming soon include TNTRun, HideandSeek, and Cuberunner so as to make the server more fun and interactive! With so many plugins, you’ll never run out of things to do with your fellow players!

Our server currently consists of four worlds for our players:

+ A survival world for all players to enjoy
+ A resource world for you to tear apart looking for resources
+A creative world with normal terrain generation
+A creative-flat world where you can claim a plot and put your favorite creation on display for all to see

In the survival world PvP is not allowed, but we have constructed a PvP arena for players wishing to duel each other.

Our server staff is friendly and active, and will be happy to assist new players in learning how to use our plugins, while also working to maintain a family-friendly and troll-free atmosphere for the server.
