About Experium SMP:

The Experium SMP is a whitelisted 1.20 vanilla server. As of today, June 1st, we have just started a brand new season with a fresh world and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.

With 1.21 just around the corner, the server is currently running on 1.20.4 with the new 1.21 blocks included. For now we are keeping our builds within a 1500×1500 block area so that we can reset the chunks outside of that once we update to include the new trial chambers (there's no world border so you can still go anywhere in the world to explore/gather resources). This is also a fun way to encourage players to settle nearby each other in the early stages of the world, and then expand further out after we update.

This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.

This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. That's why I have created a simple application process that you can fill out by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. Now, here are some of the server details.

Member Requirements:

Have decently good Minecraft building skills

Server Rules:

Show respect to all other members and their in game creations (There is a 0 tolerance policy for any hate speech, slurs, or disrespect towards how people identify)
No griefing other members (know the difference between fun pranking/trolling and straight up griefing)
No taking the resources of other members unless given permission
No use of cheaty mods/hacks such as x-ray (things like optifine, minihud, etc. are completely okay)
No duping of blocks/items aside from TNT
Try to keep builds mostly lag friendly if possible and don't build lag inducing builds in common areas

With UltraVan is a small-scale community Minecraft server with minimal enhancements to the core game, founded in January 2019 with the same world it has today. Everything is built in survival. 30 player slots is a sweet-spot for a server that is not crowded, promoting a tight-knit community feel. Hey me and some friends got done with a HUGE fully furnished map that includes a mall, shopping centers, apartments, dorms, pools, nightclubs, underground areas too (for surprises y’all can explore for that ^–⁾ but it’s mainly gonna be a text-based roleplay with nicks and different color name tag / messages for everyone so it doesn’t strain your eyes. You can also use vc if you want with the plugins I’m going to put in for proximity that too! Most of our active players are located in North America however all are welcome. Many of our players are friendly and supportive however because we provide very limited moderation, you may find some toxic players. You are able to use type "/ignore " for anyone that bothers you.

Teleportation – You are able to teleport to a few warps ^{/warp, /warp}spawn ^/spawna private home location set by you ^{/home, /home}and other players if they accept ^/tpa.
World – The world generation is default vanilla.
The End – The End resets on the 1st of every month. The reset occurs at 6"00 PM ^ET. This makes The End a very poor choice for a base location.
Spawners – All players are able to collect spawners by mining them with a silk touch enchanted pickaxe.
Discord – As mentioned above, discord is the main source of server information and keeps our players connected. Please link your Discord by typing "/discord link" on the Minecraft server.
