Hey there, and welcome to Moth SMP!

We are a brand new 20+ modded survival server that strives for a vanilla+ feel with several lite RPG elements (Origins and various mods that allow you to level up and get rare relics from dungeon chests). Our moderation team has over seventeen combined years of server moderation experience.

What is our server like?

We are looking to build a fresh community of friendly and passionate people. We want Moth to be a place where people can come for relaxation and fun, we set out to create a no-stress environment where people can thrive no matter how they like to play the game.

What mods do we run?

When we built the modpack for Moth, we wanted to avoid the “bloat” that a lot of larger modpacks fall victim to. For this purpose, we looked to stick to something mostly vanilla+, though we added in several mods to achieve somewhat of an RPG feel and one magic mod (Archon) to give the server a bit more whimsy.

Our modpack includes mods such as Farmer’s Delight, Supplementaries, PlayerEx and RelicEx, Professions, and a shop and economy system.

How does our application service work?

As Moth operates with a whitelist, we have a custom-tailored application for prospective members to fill out, both for us to acquaint you with how Moth is, and for you to tell us a little about yourself. Once you’ve got an application in and joined our Discordone of our staff members will get in touch with you.

Greetings, traveler!

Today, we present to you your next adventure into Minecraft roleplay. Developed and founded by avid roleplayers such as yourself, we are happy to introduce the Isles Of Uros! A fresh new world, brimming with untold adventures and conquests, is almost ready for your arrival! Currently, we are still in development but are on our way to The Alpha release! Below is a snip-it of the overarching lore of the isles.

PROLOGUE

In Umbria, many cannot dream of a world beyond our coasts. To be frank, not many have seen the coasts in the first place. And yet, there has been talk, amongst the common folk, of land beyond the horizon; the infamous isles of Uros. Like a siren in the belly of the sea, Uros calls for those starved of the Umbria’s treasures to start a new life in its domain. However, no one has ever found concrete proof that sirens ride the waves, nor that these so-called isles of promise exist. What can be certain is that many great names were lost in its pursuit. Those who haven’t still claim to have found the isles, but turn tail the moment evidence was inquired for. To make matters worse, archeologists, who had discovered clues on ancient relics, were driven mad with contradictions and hiccups in their work. Dashed of hope of ever unburying the truth of these mystical islands, the great stories of hope and adventure, dwindled to whispers of the past.

I do wonder if there was something people overlooked; the underlying mystery of why Uros was so difficult to find. Perhaps ignorance played a role, as anyone who did get close was brushed off as jesters, and, if not that, fools. However, like a stubborn child, Uros would not give up its game of hide-and-seek for years; was it really just a matter of disbelief? Nevertheless, the secrets of the sea remained just that; secrets.
That is, until now.

The MMORPG is focused primarily on combat with three different classes, a bunch of bosses, tombs and areas to explore. Tombs have differing pathways, mini-bosses and rewards in them. All items are unique with abilities, full set bonuses and rare versions of themselves called Relics. Mobs are also made very unique with a bunch of abilities that add strategy into the game! There are also quests, forging, enchanting, multiplayer dungeons and SO MUCH MORE!!!
We will be releasing the server with an optional custom resource pack so all the items would look great (no optifine required)! It will be 100% playable without it, though.

The Story of Asheron’s Call…
The legendary magician Asheron has summoned many to Dereth; only the bravest have answered the call. Here, warriors battle creatures of awesome might, magicians will discover magical items and create new spells, and treasure hunters will seek out precious relics. Quests will impel adventurers to uncover the wealth and lore of legend. Adventurers will form allegiance and fellowships, for often many can accomplish what one alone cannot.

Asheron also experimented with portals for travel to and from other worlds until one experiment unleashed the Olthoi upon Dereth. When the Empyrean fled the world though the portals Asheron created to save them, their departure produced a disruption in portal space. This caused many new portals to appear in Dereth from other worlds—including Ispar, the human home world.

Dereth: The Word That Is
When humans first arrived in Dereth, it was in ruins, overrun with ferocious creatures. Faced with the prospect that they might never return to Ispar, humans have made the island their new home. They have built towns and carved out small pockets of safety in a perilous world.

Though the Empyrean have vanished, some of what they wrought remains; magic flows through the land; mystical portals carry travelers many miles in a heartbeat; enchanted Lifestones bind the spirits of those who use them, allowing the dead to be resurrected. Those that come back to life find that some of their life force has been drained away—some say to power Asheron’s magic. Even more ancient secrets may lie amid the crumbled remnants of Empyrean society.

The World That Could Be
Many challenges await newcomers to Dereth. Exploring the island is both dangerous and rewarding: monsters lurk everywhere, especially in the hostile Direlands, and wondrous sights, both natural and crafted by the Empyrean, await the adventurous. Scores of dungeons—some built by the Empyrean for arcane purposes, others dug by the Olthoi or other creatures as lairs—riddle the earth. Somewhere among these is the stronghold of Asheron himself, it location lost with Elysa Strathelar and waiting to be found again.

The island of Dereth is strange, beautiful, and perilous. Power and riches are here for the taking. Many mysteries wait to be explored and solved, not the least of which is the whereabouts of the lost Empyrean race. And, it is said, there is a deep and ancient darkness at the heart of things, striving to reawaken. These quests are not for the faint of heart—brave adventurers are needed to explore the dangerous wilds, probe the deepest catacombs, and rise as rulers in this new world.

A Small, 3 year old community that started off as a snapshot server, now modded!

The modpack is Adventure and RPG based with a touch of industrial and magic mods.
Our biggest mods are DivineRPG, LOTR, and Ice and FIre (full list below).
There is an economy on the server, mobs drop coins, you may sell certain items in spawn town, as well as purchase items from the many npc merchants and shops located at and around spawn.

It is highly recommended you have discord to communicate and receive the modpack!

Grimm is a Minecraft SMP community focused on fantasy worldbuilding, roleplaying, and collaborative storytelling.The Grimm series (I, II, III ..) comes from the different seasons Grimm has reopened– closing its doors in the winter when people submit to their school and careers. Then, reopening in the awaiting summer.

In Grimm IV, explore relics of time and investigate cryptic mysteries that’ll lead you closer to fully uncovering the story. Players will enter a fatigued Elyssia, recovering from war and blighted by deeper scars of the past.

Mizuriel is a roleplay/adventure map with a side of survival for idle times or chill times.

We feature awesome quests and world building, where you can be part of a growing story that our community creates!

Are you a player that enjoys building?

We also have features to protect land using our own take on land claiming system!

I am the co-owner of the Enders SMP, a survival multiplayer with few members. There are adults here but also children (12-13), so the chat will be PG-13 at all times. We are a group of friends who just like to chill, build, and do some cool events at times. The main focus of the server is building and having fun! This is a 1.20.1 and updating server, with an emphasis on fair moderation (appeals, and punishment only for true rulebreaks), extreme longevity (absolutely NO resets since May 2022) and inclusivity of all people and playstyles. GREAT PERFORMANCE!

Our vanilla+ modpack with many optimisers ensures minimal client-side lag. Server-side, we have 16 gigs of ram + a Ryzen 9 7950x CPU, the best CPU for Minecraft SMPs in the market.

WANT BLOODSHED? WANT PEACE AND LOVE? HAVE BOTH!

The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. The Borderlands is much more resource-rich but allows griefing, killing and stealing and has no claims or graves.

THE ORIGINS MOD!

We have a very special mod, the Origins mod! Along with the 9 base origins, we have roughly 61 custom origins, all carefully reviewed so that we can make sure each one is balanced, unique and well designed! You can even suggest custom origins, but it'll have to be high quality. Of course, if you don't like this mod, or don't like your current origin, you can always pick Human or use your free three changes/craft an origin change.
Other than this mod, our modpack is very vanilla-like. We aim to mostly only include features that Mojang could feasibly add.

Silvermoon is a small modded fabric server.

There's many different mods, but the goal is to keep it vanilla friendly.

Currently there's about 6-7 regular players

The version is 1.20.1 with a fabric loader 0.16.0

Airborne Conquest is a 1.12.2 Valkyrien Skies server focusing on freedom of invention and innovation with everyone's favorite technical and magic mods, and for those who want to experience VS1 in a large-scale modpack.

For example, you can use Botania bore lens and vacuum hoppers from Mob Grinding Utilities to make a mining ship; automate your ships with OpenComputers; wire your ships freely with redstone relays or redstone paste.
You can build your own factory in the sky and bring it wherever you go, speed through the landscapes on a custom hoverbike or rule the skies with heavy battleships.
There are plenty of options for cannons, from Plasma Cannons to Botania Cannons to the Cannons mod when paried with RFTools shield projector you can get realy intresting combat.

Some of the keystone mods are Mekanism, Immersive Enginiering, OpenComputers, Botania, Redstone Paste.

A well-optimized modpack includes over 143 mods. You will be able to run this modpack with 3 gigabytes of RAM (not recommended).
Plentiful recipes are edited in a way that lets you start building your ship within your first hour of playing on the server.

Power of Creation is a semi recently opened server looking for long term players who want to build up a beautiful world and tell stories within it. 18+ preferred.
Hosted in the UK

The server runs a custom modpack focused on giving players the tools to create whatever they want. The pack is relatively lightweight, and has been designed to have few (if any) redundant features. The main content mods are:

Create (mechanical machinery, automate everything)

HexCasting (complex stack based spellcasting)

Farmer's Delight (grow and cook a variety of dishes)

Tetra (forge and hone modular tools)

Figure (play with your own custom avatar)

As well as quality of life, vanilla+ additions and performance mods.
Terrain generation is overhauled such that biomes are way more diverse and interesting, while following vanilla themes.
The world forms in continents and islands too, so if you want to have your own country or island state, that's very doable 🙂

We try to be fairly relaxed, as we aim to build a mature community where staff don't need to parent players. However, obviously any exploiting, griefing, stealing & any sort of abuse to other players will not be accepted. We're a safe place for all, and anyone who doesn't share that interest won't be tolerated.

Plugins Designed By Owner

Total War’s owner is taking the opportunity to improve his programming skills and his Minecraft server at the same time. The sever currently has TWFAITH, which allows players to create religions and gain divine powers from their followers. Expect this server to improve over time as he adds new plugins with exciting features.

Compete for Dominance on an Earth Map

Total War hosts a 1:1000 scale map of the Earth for players to explore, colonize, and fight over. Players can make their favorite countries/nations/empires from history or make something entirely new.

Make Ships that Sail and Planes that Fly

Total War uses the Movecraft plugin, which allows players to make vehicles that sail, fly, and ride around the world. Make your favorite battleships and airplanes, and equip them with cannons from the cannons plugin or TNT cannons. Then, use your creations to wreak havoc in battle.

BIGDOORS

Make large drawbridges, portcullis, sliding doors, and double doors with opening and closing animations. You will spend at least 5 minutes toggling your city’s gates open and closed just to watch the animation.

Total War: Age of Blood Rules

Respect the staff team.
Bullies are not welcome in Total War. Players are free to insult each other in the game over in-game events, but they are not allowed to use real life (race, sex, appearance, etc.) as the basis of insults. Slurs are not acceptable as insults regardless of whether or not the slur would normally be used against the person in real life. Joking around with people who understand is fine, but when someone says stop, stop.
Don't do anything that undermines the server (spam, hacking, duping, block-glitching, etc.)
Preventing a player from leaving spawn by repeatedly killing them is prohibited. You may kill the player once for their gear, but killing them repeatedly afterwards as they try to leave is not allowed.
Alternate accounts, whether on Minecraft or Discord, are not allowed.

Our community has been going since December 2021. We do not have any plans to reset the world at all. We want to keep going as long as possible! We encourage our players to focus on long term projects that will last for years!

We encourage players to play how THEY want to play. At their own pace, on their own or in groups, and having as much fun as possible! We are always working hard to create more entertainment and events for players to engage in! Through the sea spray and fog, your boat draws close to the towering cliffs – these are the Sildaris Wilds, fabled lands where only the brave venture. Your old country, home and life are all gone. Now, you and your compatriots must step forth, and forge society anew from the ashes.

Embark to the Sildaris Wilds, and make history! Create and Conquer is a Nations/Geopolitics server with a steam-fantasy theming. We have only recently launched, and have a growing community reaching 25 players concurrent at peak! Some of our stand out features include:

Create and Conquer aims to have a fair conflict system that facilitates engaging combat while allowing nations to prosper and grow. There are many aspects that enrich the combat in Create and Conquer, such as black-powder firearms, proper field guns/artillery, and an aerial aspect from Immersive Airships. For the players not looking for the combat, there is much to discover in the Sildaris Wilds, such as spyglass astronomy, paintings to share with other players, and an expansive food system with Farmer's Delight + addons, and with Let's Do Vinery/Meadow for wine and cheese.

The economy is coin based, where resources are sold to spawn for coins which can then be traded with at player-operated vendors. We also have a catalogue of event types to take place, with everything from FFA brawls, to pistol duels or airship racing!

About:

We are a community-focused, Hermitcraft-like server with an emphasis on collaboration. Our average player age is early to mid-20's. We want you to meet new friends through working together on builds, events, building towns, or getting to know each other in discord! We just reset the map and we won't reset again until the community calls for it!

We like the atmosphere to be a laid-back, low stress, fun environment. If you enjoying hanging out, joking around and having fun playing Minecraft, this server is perfect for you! Our server is vanilla with a few plugins to help with moderation, and we always welcome feedback and ideas about how we can improve the server.
