There will be a 2% fee on withdrawals to cover transaction fees, however this is not for profit. Any amount left over will be added up yearly & donated every Christmas to a Monero / privacy project which will be decided through a community vote.

I’m hoping that with this sever I can expand Monero adoption to other who would otherwise be unexposed to crypto. This will never be a pay to win server, however any potential micro-transactions for ranks & cosmetic effects in the future will be done exclusively through Monero. If it ain’t XMR it ain’t money here.

FAQ
How Is It Backed By Monero?

Players can buy/sell in game currency at an exchange rate of $1 = 0.00001 XMR with minimum transactions of 0.01 XMR, there will be a 2% fee on withdrawals to cover transaction costs. Any amount left over from this fee will be donated every Christmas to fund a Monero/privacy project that the community votes on.

How Do We Verify Holdings?
This will all be auditable as the view keys to the Monero “vault” are public (further below in this post), so you can ensure I’m keeping my promises. Unlike some exchanges, there will be no paper Monero floating around to debase the in-game currency.

Rules

We believe in a Libertarian approach to the ruleset. In the spirit of maximizing freedom there are no banned blocks. Our rules will target behaviors specifically. These are in place to ensure that everyone has a good time, not to ruin your day. This list is subject to change.
No racism, sexism, homophobia or otherwise. If politics comes up so be it but please be respectful.
No flaming, we are all adults here so cursing is allowed but if it becomes problematic this privilege may be lost.
Do not crash the plugins. Some plugins can only handle so much workload and the server reboots once a day without operator intervention.
Lag machines are not allowed under any circumstances, even for pranking your friend. What qualifies as a lag machine will be at the discretion of the moderation team but will be loosely defined as any structure with either no purpose other than increasing workload or a purpose that could be easily served in other ways that would create less workload.
No duping
No X-Ray mods or resource/texture packs and no modded clients containing software to provide unfair advantages. This includes but is not limited to ESP, KillAura and flight. Optifine is obviously allowed as is any minimap mod or really anything without a clear PvE advantage.
GriefPrevention is installed but if someone is building just outside of their claim don’t be a dick and break their stuff unless they went way out of bounds. Public utilities like bridges that aren’t claimed should be viewed as a nice token to the community not a quick 2 planks to make sticks for torches with.

Simple Survival is best described as a combination of Hermit Craft and 2b2t. We have a thriving community, a libertarian style of moderation, an active economy, and a solid Discord server! Lastly, we keep it simple. There is no pay-to-win, you will never be asked to donate money to the server, our staff doesn’t power-trip, there are no ranks or cosmetics or any of that, it’s just classic, simple Minecraft. Kinda like a combination of HermitCraft and 2b2t. We do a ton of community projects and we have an active economy (diamond-based with a shopping district but we also value free speech.

We have a land-claim plugin (GriefPrevention) and a rollback plugin (CoreProtect) so griefing and stealing is effectively impossible and, if it somehow happens, can be easily undone.

We also have a discord server with an active voice-chat, using it is not a requirement but it definitely makes playing on the server more fun.

Lastly, we keep it simple. There is no pay-to-win, you will never be asked to donate money to the server, our staff doesn’t power-trip, there are no ranks or cosmetics or any of that, it’s just classic, simple Minecraft.

Come checkout Nowhere Land, a place to be who, or whatever you want! Nowhere Land is a mostly western/frontier type server (we also love even older styled builds) with a reliance on gold and iron as a physical currency, and Towny for creating your local frontier towns. Be anything from the Mayor of a gold rush city to the outlaw who’s constantly on the move.

We’re a Towny server; a plugin which has very similar game play to factions, but with more of a focus on building and community. Our server is very difficult, and you will need to avoid death at all possible costs. Otherwise, you will be randomly teleported and everything you’ve built will be lost to another part of the map upon death. This makes game play exciting when playing with other server members, and will force you to make the tough decisions necessary for surviving the wilderness. This and the fact that we don’t have teleports on this server, make it a great place for solo players to join, since they can explore out into our vast and growing world, and find others to work with that they may have never met before!
