You might be asking yourself this question. With thousands of minecraft servers with various mods, plugins, and features; What makes FunkyServers worth playing on? At FunkyServers our mission statement is to be like everyone else, only more so. If other servers have donation ranks with features, our donation ranks will have more features. If another server has a Factions server, we will have a Factions server with more abilities and more stability than the rest. At FunkyServers we strive for player satisfaction, and stability.
Every server has carrots and sticks; paid features and rules. We don’t like rules and we don’t like only the rich being able to have all the fun. At FunkyServers every player will have some features that every other server would only classify as “Donor” or “Premium” features. Every player should feel welcome without the pressure of donating. We will have donor ranks that offer more perks than the default, without comprimising player satisfaction. You can see on every server out there when you login you have the chat welcoming you with a message, an animated title screen flashing in your face, a menu on the right side of your screen that doesn’t go away, and maybe a boss bar at the top advertising the website where they only want your money. How do you learn anything about a server when you’re being smothered with in game advertisements for a server you don’t even know you like? How do you play the game when MR MAGORIUMS WONDER CRAFT is flashing on your screen when you’re shooting a bow, or hunting down the last remaining enemy faction member? + What Will I Be Doing When I First Hop On?
Initially you will be in a funky looking room, this is because you are required to download a mandatory CUSTOM RESOURCE PACK. The pack is mandatory because many blocks have been replaced and are not recognizable. We have done this to furthur the possibilities of building for the server. This pack can be found doing /MOTD in the server, where you then click on the resourcepack link. The pack along with other valuable information can be found on the discord as well! After it has been downloaded continue through a short quiz to ensure the pack is working, where at the end you will click through and enjoy a short city tour, where a handful of important capitals are visited. After this you will appear in a room where you choose your race, each race door has an [Info] sign, where if clicked will give a brief summary on the race. Choose carefully! After this you will read through a short general server tutorial that will guide you through some important mechanics of the server. When all is said and done you will spawn in the Archaean city of Aktos. From here you may find any vacant home (that does not have a name sign) and move in. From here, you may collect resources, engage with other characters, embark on quests, or countless other tasks and missions. You may kill monsters in exchange for XP that can be spent on powerful buffs and skills. One tip? Read everything!

GiftedKits is a brand new server that is based around kitpvp (soup), parkour, chat games and plenty of events to keep the player entertained. What makes us different from all the other servers? GiftedKits uses a rankup plugin that allowes the player to rankup based on your amount of money. When you kill a player you receive $3, you can vote and either sell the diamonds for $25 (if you vote on all sites) or you can craft the diamonds into diamond armour to pvp. You can also earn money by completing our parkour maps but trust me, they get pretty hard! As a minecraft owner, I know it’s my responsibility to keep the player entertained when playing on my server.
