The Superflat Experiment
The Superflat Experiment is a 1.20.4 Survival Superflat server started in March 2022 with a single question: What would happen on a survival Superflat server with no rules or limitations?
Since then, over 4000 players have joined and left their mark. This is a difficult server, so don't expect an easy start. Our spawn region currently contains trees and cobblestone provided by the community, but survival is still difficult.
The server has no gameplay rules, meaning utility mods such as Meteor Client are commonly used amongst the server's regulars. An anticheat is in place to prevent extreme movement hacks, but everything else is fair game.
If you are unfamiliar with Superflat survival, as many newcomers are, countless structures are generated in our Superflat world that make nearly every item in the game obtainable. The list currently includes:

About Experium SMP:
The Experium SMP is a whitelisted vanilla server running on 1.21. We started a brand new season with a fresh world a little over a month ago and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a long-term dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.
Our current season began on June 1st and we just recently updated to 1.21. Some of us are still working on our starter areas while others are starting to move to late game projects and getting our shopping district going. Whether you'd prefer to enjoy the early game grind or get some help with gearing up from from our current members, there's still room for all.
This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.
This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. MCMMO – MCMMO, a plugin that introduces an RPG-like skill system. You can level up various skills such as mining, woodcutting, and combat, unlocking powerful abilities and perks as they progress. Compete with others , type /mctop to see where you are on the ladder board, its fresh so get playing
Mob Arena – Team up with friends or go solo to survive as many rounds as possible. Earn rewards and bragging rights as you climb the leaderboard. Ive Recreated the Call of duty zombie map aswell as nuketown , battle it out and use custom classes with preset items
Quests – Over 200 quests with rewards and questlines. Perfect to get yourself geared up and level up your skills, you also earn money from completing the quests that you can spend at the shop located at spawn or type /shop
