Lords Of Soot is a 1.12.2, modded Nation-style server. In terms of structure, we are similar to other Nations/Semi-Anarchy servers; where most rules are decided and enforced by player-run nations, as opposed to admins. However, our formula is changed somewhat by centering ourselves around a worn down, late-20th-century era theme, and being based around a custom-built modpack, featuring, but not limited to, Techguns, Immersive Railroading, Immersive Engineering, Immersive Vehicles, and Ancient Warfare 2.

Currently, Lords of Soot contains 6 player-run nations; featuring gigantic player-built-and-ran Railways, Harbors, Airports, industries and Cities, all on a 16x16km hand-made custom map, with player-led economies, wars, and diplomacy.

Minecart Rapid Transit – A Community for Transportation and City-Building Enthusiasts

We are a tight-knit community of transit enthusiasts who love to build modern towns and cities, and the transportation networks that connect them together. On the server, you will find everything from rural towns to towering metropolises, grand train stations and expansive airports, and much more. Also on many weekends, you can find our members self-organizing and participating in special events on the server, including sports competitions and game shows.
Our Origins
The MRT was started in 2012 by our owner, Frumple, who originally intended the server to be a short-lived experiment to test his MRT Station v4.1 designposted on his YouTube channel. The design was a fully-automated minecart station built purely using redstone and vanilla in-game mechanics within Minecraft. With the unexpected popularity of the server and the growth of our community, Frumple designed a version 5.0 of the MRT Station, which is now used to build MRT lines on our current world, known as the New World. While these stations are fully functional and you can ride them to get around, nowadays they are not traveled on very often and they are mainly used as central landmarks for members to build their towns and cities. Be sure to check out our Dynmap to see all of our cities and MRT lines.

Our Server
The MRT is a vanilla, greylisted, freebuild creative mode server.

“Vanilla” means you only need the official Java Edition Minecraft client to connect to our server and you don’t need to install any client-side mods. Please make sure you are using a Minecraft client that matches the current version of our server. You can see the version in the top-left corner of our website.

“Greylisted” means that you can initially join the server as a Guest to explore the cities and ride the MRT lines, but you will not be able to build or modify blocks. To obtain building privileges, you can apply for membership on our How to Join page.

“Freebuild” means unlike some other creative servers, we do not use any sort of plot system and land is generally available on a first-come, first-server basis. However, please note that we do have several rules and restrictions as to what can be built and where, the most notable of which is that you are not allowed to build in another town or within 300 blocks of another town unless you have permission from that town’s mayor.

How To Join
Once you have been accepted as a member, you can ask a staff member in-game for access to our private Discord server, and create an account on our wiki and start making edits. You can also start constructing your own buildings, found your own town or even your own company, and work to achieve higher player ranks for additional perks and privileges.

With six children in tow, Catherine raced to the airport departing gate. This wasn’t an easy task as the children had other priorities than to get to the gate. She knew that she was tight on time and the frustration came out as she yelled at the kids to keep up. They continued to test her, pretending not to listen and to move in directions that only slowed them down. They had no idea the wrath they were about to receive when Catherine made it to the gate only to be informed that they had all missed the plane.

Nobody really understood Kevin. It wasn’t that he was super strange or difficult. It was more that there wasn’t enough there that anyone wanted to take the time to understand him. This was a shame as Kevin had many of the answers to the important questions most people who knew him had. It was even more of a shame that they’d refuse to listen even if Kevin offered to give them the answers. So, Kevin remained silent, misunderstood, and kept those important answers to life to himself.

Finding the truth wouldn’t be easy, that’s for sure. Then there was the question of whether or not Jane really wanted to know the truth. That’s the thing that bothered her most. It wasn’t the difficulty of actually finding out what happened that was the obstacle, but having to live with that information once it was found.

It had become a far too common an event in her life. She has specifically placed the key to the box in a special place so that she wouldn’t lose it and know exactly where it was when the key was needed. Now that she needed to open the box, she had absolutely no idea where that special spot she placed the key might be.

P.D.: When the project is 40%-60% complete, I will need help for build up to 20’000 houses, to give a sense of diversity. Later, I will decide if it can be in this server or by sending me the buildings.

Altepec is the official capital of Adagium, result of mutual cooperation between Gematia, Axis and Stravia. That is why it houses all the embassies, international organizations, and the nation government and its dependencies.

It’s a planned city built on a large meadow and next to the bay, it has an area of 49km². Its plan and urban design are inspired by places, like Brasilia, Songdo and Tenochtitlan.

Its buildings are based by international style and metaphoric architecture, and a lot of original ideas, which are a synthetic representation of each buildings function. Some interesting buildings are the national tower, stadium, cathedral, mayor’s palace, science and technology institute, art museum, and hospital.

The Altepec Subway (it’s really a “superway”, no underground), called Intervia, covers the transport service for population and important sites, with 10 coordinated lines and connections throughout the country. All railways pass over the ground level in color tubes.
Other transports are the international airport, able to serve crowded flights, and the passengers and container terminals of the port, which joins land and sea.

Altepec has green areas in every street and sector, to create a city in sinergy with its environment and develop creativity and imagination. The downtown is completely surrounded by a lake, where everyone can enjoy the amazing landscapes and take a boat ride. Further, there are a zoo, an acuarium, a large farmland and a natural reserve.

Total War’s owner is taking the opportunity to improve his programming skills and his Minecraft server at the same time. The sever currently has TWFAITH, which allows players to create religions and gain divine powers from their followers. Expect this server to improve over time as he adds new plugins with exciting features.

Compete for Dominance on an Earth Map

Total War hosts a 1:1000 scale map of the Earth for players to explore, colonize, and fight over. Players can make their favorite countries/nations/empires from history or make something entirely new.

Make Ships that Sail and Planes that Fly

Total War uses the Movecraft plugin, which allows players to make vehicles that sail, fly, and ride around the world. Make your favorite battleships and airplanes, and equip them with cannons from the cannons plugin or TNT cannons. Then, use your creations to wreak havoc in battle.

BIGDOORS

Make large drawbridges, portcullis, sliding doors, and double doors with opening and closing animations. You will spend at least 5 minutes toggling your city’s gates open and closed just to watch the animation.

Total War: Age of Blood Rules

Respect the staff team.
Bullies are not welcome in Total War. Players are free to insult each other in the game over in-game events, but they are not allowed to use real life (race, sex, appearance, etc.) as the basis of insults. Slurs are not acceptable as insults regardless of whether or not the slur would normally be used against the person in real life. Joking around with people who understand is fine, but when someone says stop, stop.
Don't do anything that undermines the server (spam, hacking, duping, block-glitching, etc.)
Preventing a player from leaving spawn by repeatedly killing them is prohibited. You may kill the player once for their gear, but killing them repeatedly afterwards as they try to leave is not allowed.
Alternate accounts, whether on Minecraft or Discord, are not allowed.

Through the sea spray and fog, your boat draws close to the towering cliffs – these are the Sildaris Wilds, fabled lands where only the brave venture. Your old country, home and life are all gone. Now, you and your compatriots must step forth, and forge society anew from the ashes.

Embark to the Sildaris Wilds, and make history! Create and Conquer is a Nations/Geopolitics server with a steam-fantasy theming. We have only recently launched, and have a growing community reaching 25 players concurrent at peak! Some of our stand out features include:

For the players not looking for the combat, there is much to discover in the Sildaris Wilds, such as spyglass astronomy, paintings to share with other players, and an expansive food system with Farmer's Delight + addons, and with Let's Do Vinery/Meadow for wine and cheese.

The economy is coin based, where resources are sold to spawn for coins which can then be traded with at player-operated vendors. We also have a catalogue of event types to take place, with everything from FFA brawls, to pistol duels or airship racing!

We are a community-focused, Hermitcraft-like server with an emphasis on collaboration. Our average player age is early to mid-20's. We want you to meet new friends through working together on builds, events, building towns, or getting to know each other in discord! GG is a server of, as the name implies, Grownup Gamers – most of whom have known each other for many years, and many of whom have met up IRL! We host and play a (mostly) vanilla Minecraft survival server, but we are known to dabble in some fun party games on weekends occasionally. While we require all members to be 18 and above, most of our active player base are well into their 30s and 40s, have jobs and/or families, and have the kind of lives that don’t magically refill by eating raw cod.

In terms of our Minecraft SMP, we’ve got a little bit of everything! From amazing builders (no, seriously, we have some amazing builders!), creative artistsmega-farmers, chill adventurers, redstone wizardsand all-around shenanigan-lovers.Our diversity of playstyle and talent guarantees you’ll find inspiration around every corner and meet other people who share your interests.

First and foremost, though, we are a really good group of friends. We have each other’s backs through tough times and celebrate each other’s wins when they come along. We totally get that life can get in the way sometimes, and more than mining and crafting, we’re there for each other as human beings.

What do we offer?

A friendly, helpful, and supportive community. We want to make your time with us as productive, enjoyable, and fun as possible! We have absolutely zero tolerance for bigotry, drama, -isms, and outright negativity towards any player for any reason. While that’s not to say we don’t ever discuss current events or external dramas, we’re definitely not the place for constant political talk or uncomfortable topics being shoved down anyone’s throats. We take great pride in providing a safe, comfortable, chill, and welcoming space for our players to call home.
Java/Bedrock compatibility. With Geyser, enjoy seamless play sessions between Java and Bedrock simultaneously. Our dedicated bedrock help staff is always happy to assist with any update issues, and we have a healthy contingent of active bedrockers.
Voice chat/proximity chat capable. Our Discord has several voice chat lobbies for server events, team battles, proximity chat, or just hanging out and shooting the breeze. You absolutely never need to participate/speak up if you don’t want to, though!
A powerful, dedicated server. Experience lag-free gameplay on our high-performance dedicated server located on the east coast of North America, ensuring smooth gameplay for all with twice-daily backups and scheduled resets.
DynMap. Explore our world in real-time using DynMap right in your browserso you always know where you are and what's around you. Players can request labeled map markers for their bases, and we’ve outlined several community zones with special functions around spawn as well. It even has a 3-D view!
Discord integration. Players are required to link their Minecraft and Discord accounts for seamless integration and to enjoy live game chat on the go. We also have a variety of topic rooms, including “food and fitness”, “tech and hardware”, “movies, music, and TV”, and other interest groups all are welcome to join in on.
Content Creator friendly. While we welcome content creators of all varieties, our server doesn’t focus on content production. Enjoy playing Minecraft your way, whether you're streaming, recording, or just enjoying the game solo. Enhanced Vanilla gameplay and Quality of Life. Our aim is to keep as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible, while offering a few quality-of-life features and datapacks to avoid unnecessarily annoying mechanics.
HermitCraft-like environment. We love the Hermits and have some of their heads available in wandering trader inventories to collect and display. We also operate under a (mostly) diamond-based economy with central community builds near spawn and a generally collaborative nature to our worldbuilding.
Creative server. Flex your creativity muscles on our creative server, using the same seed as our SMP so you can plan your projects with precision.
Safety and protection. Your creations are safe with us, and staff can quickly revert any griefs or unwanted edits. We regularly back up the world and use admin plugins to ensure fair play and protection on our paper-based server.

Redstone royalty? We’re literally building Decked Out in our current survival world. Like, all of it. You’ll find your niche of engineers to geek out about RS-Nor laches and T-flip flops with!
Shady shenanigander? Between our “Prank Wars” (with consenting participants, of course), game district, races/contests, “guess the build” nights, and generally light and fun vibe, you’ll be able to make even Grian jealous!
Quiet quail? No worries! Do your own thinginteract with community builds, shops, games, and projects as much or as little as you like, and enjoy chatting with everyone from the comfort of your own base!

More than anything, we’re looking for chill people with good energy who can contribute positively to the great group of people we already have. Your delightful demeanor is far more important than your construction competence or PvP prowess. You’ll find a server full of super-friendly folks ready to greet you with open arms!

Alright already, I’m sold! How do I join?

It’s super simple!

First, hop over to our Discord server (linked below) and look around. Feel free to introduce yourself! Our mods and staff are always happy to welcome you and help you get around.

From there, you’ll need to submit a whitelist ticket. Once we can be sure you’ve had a good read of our rules (and, you know, have mastered basic reading comprehension!), we’ll be happy to pop you onto the whitelist, and you’ll be ready to go, just like that! If any staff member or helper is available in-game when you log on, we’d be happy to give you a quick tour of our spawn area, shopping district, and show you where you can get started on your adventure.

Starter gear, tools, food, equipment, and most other necessities are provided free of charge—or, feel free to “rough it” vanilla-style and make your own way—we welcome any way you like to play and get around! Claim a plot in our “suburbs” near spawn for a starter build, check out our DynMap for any unclaimed areas that suit you, or just have a lovely wander around, enjoying some of the impressive builds and projects we have going on.

TotallyNotSuspicious is an SMP established in 2018, focused on creating an environment where interactions between members are the main focus – the primary goal is for the community to be inclusive, friendly, and collaborative. Every member is welcome to join with open arms; no one is judged here.

SEASONS

Season 12 released on the 2nd of August, which is hosted on 1.21. Seasons generally go 5-7 months in length.

OUR IDEA

We are a unique modded whitelist SMP focusing on community building, collaboration, and longevity. We aim to create a long lasting community where all level of players are welcome. There will be a fully functioning economy with a large focus on trading with others to build everyone up, along with our economy we also have a plethora of player made and ran towns. Feel free to join an existing town or forge your own path! There will never be a dull moment and always more to explore. Along with our preexisting features we also welcome all of our community members to way in on suggestions, and discussions. We are a community based project where everyone has a voice! WHEN DO WE LAUNCH? / MODPACK INFO

We are currently preparing for our first wipe after a very successful first season. The first season of Elemental ran for over a month with a constant flow of 5-15 players on average. We learned a lot from our first season and hope to use that knowledge in making season 2 even more of a success!
