Hello Ladies and Gents. As of June 27, 2018 this survival server is online. The Permissions are not yet done for those who find this early, but by tomorrow morning, 7 AM PST, Permissions will be coded and live for all categories. This new server so far is only survival, but soon as multiverse is added, so will Factions, Skywars, and a few more modes which you can choose from. Because this server is new, we will be acquiring some more staff. Dont get too excited. The amount of staff needed will be determined by the player base. The name of the server speaks for everything. We are a whitelisted minecraft server with custom and realistic terrain generation. The server is free to join, but you have to apply to be whitelisted. In addition we have added several vanilla+ elements to the server such as skills, classes, races, custom mobs and custom structures.
We have a resource collection world as well as a build world. We have a communal/shared storage and resource gathering model. We have only community farms. No personal redstone farms or massive storage systems are allowed outside of the community area besides the Guardian Farm and Enderman Farms. Everyone is expected to take from the community storage as needed, but everyone is also expected to put back into the storage as much as or slightly more than what they took out.
Build themes are dependent on the dimension in which you are building. High Fantasy/Medieval/Steampunk for the overworlds, Demonic for the nether, and sci-fi/cyberpunk for the end dimension.
We are currently recruiting builders who are looking for a fun survival experience but who still want to build something big and beautiful. If interested, post an application on our discord!

Lumostaria.net is a pure vanilla survival server, excluding the teleport commands as they are essential for team work. The spawn point is a large pirate ship, located in the water between a woodland and mesa biome. Aboard the ship is a cabin where you will find the entrance to PVP, which takes place in the hold beneath deck. Incidentally, part of the decks floor is made of glass, which allows players on the surface to spectate combat below.

Semi-Vanilla Gameplay
The main goal of the server is to carry out the normal survival (vanilla) feel of Minecraft, while having some simple commands such as teleport requests that can be sent to fellow players to make the gameplay more enjoyable & streamlined.
Plugins
The plugins are designed to not break the vanilla (normal) feel of Minecraft. This means there are no large changes such as land claim or locked chests: there are only quality of life commands such as teleportation requests, or a teleport to a small protected spawn in which trade can engage.
