Theres an economy. Players can create shops or use the admin made shop.
Ask an Helper or a higher rank to claim land for you.
If you die on this server, you won’t lose everything,

Limbo is a fresh survival 1.18.2 Minecraft server, with a new world (as of 5/29/22). We feature a few neat commodities, like being able to join the server on Java or Bedrock, having chat forwarded to a Discord channel, and no plugin based shop/economy whatsoever (if you’d call this a feature).
Limbo has very few plugins and other addons, being a completely vanilla server gameplay wise. No tacky skins, cosmetics or questionable monetization tactics, just a basic server run off a laptop under a desk. So, if that’s your kinda thing, join now with limbosmp.ga!

This will be a Survival server. You will need to survive. No freebies. No bennies. No pay to play IRL money stuff.

It is not intended to be a PVP server, but PVP will be on. There is a lands/claims plugin so you can protect yourself and your builds and your stuff, but you can raid anything that is not protected.

Ranks:
Ranks will offer more land claims and a few other perks as you earn them. You will rank and progress by playing the game! Voting and spending in-game money is how you rank. You get in-game money by selling things. The server will buy some rare things, but there will be a user economy and shops you can set up to sell things to others.

The map is currently 25,000 x 25,000. I will expand at some point.

Some of the plugins:
MCMMO – earn abilities by exercising some of the many skills in this plugin. Very cool.
Lands – claim areas to build on and protect your stuff. But…things outside of lands are fair game!
MythicMobs – default addon monsters for now but I will be adding some wicked mobs with cool loots you can kill.
Dynmap – you can explore the world map in a browser so you can find cool places to explore.

Utilities:
RTP – random teleport
TPA – teleport to each other
Health will appear over mobs and others
SmoothTimber – helps cut trees quicker
and more!

Thirst for expansion is an all new 1.16.4 server that uses a 1:1000 scaled map of Earth in order to facilitate a unique game mode of historical civilizations set in 1100 AD. Although the server is historically themed, you are encouraged to pave your own legacy… make history on Thirst for Expansion!

However, keep in mind it is medieval times.. and you will be plagued with hardship along your journey…

Watch out for diseases, broken legs, flesh wounds, thirst, heat stroke, little to no teleportation to provide an immersive gameplay experience.

We also utilize a physical currency system, items = money. We do not use the imaginary economy system most servers have become accustomed to. For example, 1 gold nugget = 1.
