My wife and I started playing Minecraft over a decade ago and have grown a healthy community to play with over the years. We of course use Discord and if you're interested in playing with us, please use the link below to join and tell us a little about yourself before we whitelist you. We try our best to avoid kids and weed out any annoying players, so please don't join if you fall in these categories. Most of us are in our late 20s/early 30s. Our primary goal is to provide a truly vanilla experience, I'll include some other various information about our current world and playstyle below.
- Age 25+, please.
- No Ranks or Moderator positions. Over the past 10 years my wife and I have run this server independently and successfully. We also play the game by the same rules as all other players.
- No area claim plugins.
- We started a new map on June 9th, 2023 with the 1.20 update.
- The world border is currently set at 10k blocks in every direction from spawn, but will be expanded in the future.
- We're a smaller community with usually only ~8-12 players online at peak times
- Render view distance is set at the maximum of 32 Chunks.
- We play on Hard difficulty
- We have a separate Legacy Server to view all our old maps, and a Creative server to play around or practice your build or redstone machine.
- Our goal is to have as vanilla of an experience as possible, any exceptions to this are listed below.
- Enderman and Creeper griefing are turned off (Villagers still work for trading and block editing).
- We use DynMap.
- We use DiscordSVR which bridges in-game chat with a Discord channel to allow everyone to chat with people in game when they can't be on.
- AFK players won't be counted towards the total number of people needed to sleep in order to turn it to day.
- We have a plugin that allows players to change their in-game chat text color.
- The only other plugins we use are for grief protection (including rollback capabilities, chest locking, block edit logging) and chat functionality (changing text colors in game, and in-game chat from our discord server).
As stated above, join our discord if this is what you're looking for and tell us about yourself before we whitelist you.
When you join our discord you will see we have a couple hundred members in our sidebar, but don't let that turn you off if looking for a small community. A large number of our members have joined in years past and since become inactive, as is the case for any long-term minecraft server.

🌐 ｢ Our Server in a Nutshell ｣ 🌐
We are a new server – our community and buildings are all since mid February of 2024. Our current map is 14k by 14k, and will continue expanding to make new vanilla content accessible as it is released and accommodate more players as the server grows. Our vision is to have a server that is as vanilla as possible, while also addressing various QoL issues that come along with a large playerbase on an unwhitelisted server. As such, we have implemented a handful of plugins including renewable elytra (via the ender dragon fight), a simple chest shop system using currency that is interconvertible with diamonds, and night skip with just one player sleeping. Phantoms are also disabled unless requested for membranes, as the sleeping plugin makes it harder to rest.
We have an outstanding community of builders! This is true both of aesthetically pleasing buildings and cohesive community spaces as well as of efficient and high-throughput farms. Check out Sharing > Builds and Sharing > Farms on our Discord, as well as our photo galleries linked below! If you are more interested in one aspect of the game or the other, don't worry. There are plenty of players who are happy to help fill in the gaps for you!
We have no land claims plugin, but rest assured your builds and items are safe! We use CoreProtect, a plugin which keeps detailed logs of blocks, items, entities, and more. It allows for custom, precision rollbacks of specific players, time ranges, locations, and more for convenient grief reversal – all in real-time while the server is running. A command from this plugin is enabled which allows all players to check the logs of containers and spaces so you can see if alterations have been made by someone who does or does not have your permission without needing staff assistance.

Community First: Our primary goal is to foster a fun, cooperative, supportive community on our server. Profit from the server is not a short or long-term goal. We want to scale and develop our community, but at a pace that is reasonable and sustainable.
Long-Term Map: We plan to never reset the map. We want builds, farms, and communities made on the server to be permanent, and this is why we have opted for an expanding map to incorporate content from new releases.
Golden Rule: Respect. Other. Players. You can see a more precise list of rules on our spawn board or Discord server, but in general all rules follow from the simple principles of respecting others and using common sense.
Work Hard, Play Hard: The server is on hard difficulty. There is no keepinventory, no /tp, no warps other than /spawn and /home, and staff will not use tools to roll back legitimate deaths or mistakes that do not violate the rules. We hope in our community you will become a pro gamer – not a pro beggar or pro hoarder. We aim to preserve the minimalism and realism of Minecraft, as we believe these features are essential for maximizing players' sense of immersion in our world and community.
No P2W: We do not and will not even remotely resemble a Pay to Win server. We do accept donations. There are currently no perks for donors, but if any future perks are added they will be purely cosmetic (e.g. colored names or tags in game or on Discord).

Hello we are 2TMC a 21+ community server much like Hermitcraft.
