Are you on the hunt for a fun and welcoming SMP? Well, you’ve found the right place. Whether you’re more technical, into redstone, or love creating majestic builds, you’re bound to find the right thing for you on the TrophySMP. We are heavily inspired by hermitcraft and their community as a whole. We have proximity chat and an installation guide for it. This gives us a much larger sense of community. Of course, proximity chat is optional and isn’t forced. We also have datapacks that enrich the vanilla experience. You can find out more about this info in our discord. Hi, as the new update just kicked in we decided to start our own survival server. Our server is focused only on the survival section, giving us the possibility to build something quite unique if I may say.

Created by Darzen himself in 2017, this server has the goal of keeping a tight knit community where people explore, create, and thrive together. What makes this SMP unique? Most notably, enchanting tables are disabled. “Why would we do that!?” you may ask… Well you see, when there are no enchanting tables, people learn to come together to improve their gear, by trading and sharing ideas. When was the last time you used a fish farm? So instead of hiding away in dark exp farms and looming over a floating book, people get to actually play together and learn new strategies. Among other things, all undead mobs are disabled as well, making it slightly easier (BUT NOT TOO EASY!) for kids to play on.

This is a family friendly community, and our server is the same. So come on down to the Darzen SMP!

Chayote SMP aims to be a small very technical minecraft community. This includes digging into the minecraft source code together and exploit findings to design contraptions together, designing new more powerful farms and original redstone machines.

Also the world has just been started. At the moment there is just a villager breeder and small iron farm (LogicalGeekBoy design)

At the moment due to the limited amount of resources the server can handle I can’t admit too many people, of course joining does not require any financial contribution which will remain onto me, the only thing I ask is to be active in the minecraft world and on discord as well. Of course we all have our own offline lives so I do not require you to spend a crazy amount of hours on the server, but take into consideration that if you apply just to join once a month your spot on the community could have been used by someone else who could do more out of it.

A community project hosted on the old beta 1.7.3 version of Minecraft.

Why b1.7.3?

Beta 1.7.3 is the perfect version for players who are not interested in the “end game” of Minecraft: beating the dragon, obtaining elytra’s, etc. It is a whitelisted 18+ server with a strong focus on community. Without the threat of endgame mechanics creeping up new players feel welcome right away because there is no such thing as being "too late to the party" in this version. Beta 1.7.3 solves this issue by being the version of Minecraft that precedes the introduction of the end game and other mechanics like hunger. It is also the most supported legacy version as it has a relatively large community. In this version, players can join at any point and never be left out of the fun. Moreover, my personal investment in this project is fueled by the nostalgia that comes from the older version of the game, which is something that I know others feel too and will contribute to an even stronger community.

Plugins

Frank 1.0 was originally a 100% vanilla server with the exception of a few quality of life improvements. Frank's Beta will be no different. The original theme of “no bloat” will continue.

Unhindered vanilla gameplay with extra content, a storied world, and a great community!

We are a passionate group of vanilla SMP Minecrafters with thorough knowledge of the game and a desire to keep pushing it further! On top of this, we will never reset the map, but rather keep adding to it!

In addition to all of this really cool stuff, we have a heavy focus on not interfering with the vanilla gameplay experience and seek to encourage players who like to build, explore, or whatever else (as long as it doesn't violate our server rules of course)!

▶ Vanilla Additions and Tweaks 💰

Content Additions:
– 150+ goals to complete (something for every playstyle) (viewable in advancements tab)
– Every 10 goals grant a unique item to spice things up a bit!
– Players can set up to 5 homes (/sethome, /homes, /home)
– Players can request to tp to other players (/tpa, /tpahere)
– Players can warp to all 14 past spawns (all but the current spawn are locked until a playtime threshold is hit)
– Player stats can be viewed and compared – reach the top of those leaderboards! (/stats)
– Players drop their head on death (change your skin for custom decorations)
– Coordinates HUD can be toggled (/trigger ch_toggle)
– Full 3D server map (Click Here)
– Very extensive grief protection tools and redundant backups

Vanilla Gameplay Tweaks
– Shulkers can be opened by right-clicking (in the air or in-inventory)
– The Ender Dragon drops an elytra on death
– Fire does not spread
– Endermen do not grief
– Craftable sculk sensor (3 obsidian, 2 twisting vines, 1 eye of ender)
– Craftable bundle (6 rabbit hide, 2 string)
– Craftable spore blossom (4 big dripleaf, 1 allium)
– Craftable horse armor (7 iron/gold/diamond respectively)
– Craftable saddle (6 leather)
– Craftable nametag (2 paper, 1 string)
– Chat reporting disabled (Mojang can't see your messages. Moderation is handled locally as needed)

2) Cosmetic mods only (Optifine, Minimaps, Litematica)
3) Give other player's builds at least 200 blocks of space when not at spawn
4) Common sense kindness to others & clean language expected.
5) PvP is mutually agreed only
6) No item duping.
