The Mysterious place called, “8-bit Pixel”

8-bit Pixel was once a place of peace during the cycles of day and night. Its flowers blossomed, trees showed strength, wildlife ran free, and the citizens were content. People sang songs, children played in the groves, miners dug for their ore and builders kept on building.

One day a mysterious asteroid floating through space slammed into the planet. This caused an unknown disturbance throughout the land. Emerging from this asteroid were monsters and aliens!

They killed and slaughtered many innocent people. The planet has been reduced to a very small population. A population of explorers from the universe called, “The Outlaw Republic in the Empryion system.”

These explorers have discovered the one flaw about this hostile force. They are terrified of the sun that shines ever so brightly during the day!

Hy-Brasil is an adult owned, community based server with an open world loaded with play style options. Using your Minecraft Java Edition client with the 1.13.2 version loaded you can connect and explore a world with lots of possibilities. We are an RPG server with plugins which modify the game’s behavior from the typical, vanilla Minecraft. You can claim land of your own or join someone else’s base to give protection to your builds and your possessions. You can get paid in credits (in game currency) for killing monsters which will allow you to purchase other things to help you on your way. There are new skills to learn which will unlock new abilities provided by the mcMMO plugin. We have interactive, GUI menus and custom server music available in game as well. On old Earth, generations ago on an island some knew as Éire legends were told of another mythical island which, like a phantom, was cloaked in mists off the western shore and only visible once every seven Earth years but even then could never be reached. The map is fresh so spawn is quite simple but does feature portals, admin shop and buyable plots. Spawn in and either run 100 blocks out and into the wilderness or you can random teleport. You can either join a town or not

Other features: Kits, Timed flight, back on death command, rankups, jobs and vote rewards. Server is under constant development but the essentials are here and the map is yours.

Pappa’s Hermits is starting up now – I started on April 19th – and the current world will be up for a while, until I have found a group of capable and trustworhty hermits to start over with, or until I decide to start over – probably in 6-12 months.

The server is a whitelist vanilla Minecraft survival server with a few tweaks and quality of life improvements, intended for a Hermitcraft-like experience – ie. think big, make it look nice, and help eachother.

If you want to become one of Pappa’s Hermits you must be mature and trustworthy. Mature is not about age – you can be 10, 20, 40 or 80 years old – being mature is about showing consideration, planning, being meticulous in your builds and caring for how this Minecraft world looks.

I expect you to
– play on the server at least 2 times a week (exceptions for vacation og announced passive periods)
– be an experienced builder and strive to make your builds and surroundings look nice
– build the farms you need and gather the resources you need to build what you plan to build, instead of just hoarding resources
– do what you can to reduce lag on the server (reduce entities ie. limit number of armour stands, item frames, mobs and other entities, limit number of open and active hoppers, only have minecarts rolling and redstone contraptions active when you are actually using them, and not leaving boats and other stuff all around the server)
