MishMashMC is what we get when the owner has a jumble of ideas in his head and has to settle on those which can create a fun community. Our result is a family-friendly SMP server with:

– Multiple worlds including an entire DeepDark world!
– World maps, available to players through their web browsers
– An economy with an auction house, pay and trade commands, chest shops, server shops, merchants, and Jobs
– An Angel Chest, allowing players to retrieve their items and experience after dying
– Backpacks with increasing capacity as players rank up
– Crates and prizes
– Daily, Weekly and Monthly kits
– GriefPrevention and flags
– McMMO
– Mystery Vaults, Boxes and Gadgets
– Player Ranks, using playtime, in-game currency and achievements to unlock more commands like /nick, bp, glow, and more

– Pocket Balls (like Pokeballs)
– Resource worlds, plus an Epic Axe (treefeller)
– Surveys, taken in-game and offering players a chance to win prizes or to apply for Staff positions
– XP Bottles, allowing players to save their experience points

As they log into the game server, we provide players with a link to a Discord server on which they can get news, ask questions, appeal bans and share ideas.

We are new, and we will adapt quickly for our new community.

BinaryChaos SMP is a mature, hardcore difficulty Minecraft server which strives to encourage the vanilla Minecraft experience with a low fantasy, dark ages theme. The server is based on persistently changing anarchy, cloak and dagger politics, and rules or more appropriately “laws” controlled by the players within their proclaimed territories aside from the ground rules shown below.

We strongly encourage joining up with some veteran players upon first joining the server to get a feel for our play-style, we strongly encourage light medieval role-play in your build and play-style. When building, things that are useful and structurally sound and preferred with medieval theme, rather than 1×1 dirt spires and lava falls. In-game trade, kingdoms, economy, and towns are all encouraged.

This server utilizes very minimal protection against griefing and hackers, consequences are meant to be lasting and will shape the world map for years to come.

With the introduction of “chunk blending” in version 1.18 I am truly hopefully that we will never have to reset the world map in the foreseeable future. This server and new world map was officially started on August 6th, 2022.

How to join a Minecraft server:

Find its IP and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C for Windows/Linux and Cmd+C for macOS). The IP address is often a number displayed next to the name of it, or a domain.
Start Minecraft, click Multiplayer and click Add Server. There should be two boxes, Server Name and IP Address. The server name does not matter a bit. Call it what you like. Now press Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+V (macOS) in the Server Address box to enter the IP or type it in. Confirm your entries by clicking done.
You will be taken back to the server list. The server should appear on it with green bars on the right.
