What is the setting?
Fables of Velorae is set within the vast world of Velorae. The server itself is placed on the small continent Brivaea, neighboured by two much more intimidating continents, Varilea, to the north, and Fadrean, to the south. The Austerian Kingdom rules over Brivaea and owns a set of subdomains in Varilea, and is powerful enough to be considered a superpower within worldwide politics. This does not halt its competitors, however, as the heir to a once-great Empire, as well as a culturally different but equally powerful civilization to the south, all scramble to the top. To make matters complicated, a recent pandemic spread across the eastern world which enveloped these superpowers in a plague that lasted one year short of a decade before swiftly dying out. To present date, these great Kingdoms are now freed of their infliction and the board of nations is ripe for the taking. Only time will tell what should become of these rising tensions.

How do I join?
Unlike many roleplay servers, you can immediately jump into the action by entering the server. We are un-whitelisted, though for more in-depth access to systems, we advise you apply to canonize your character. This would also give your character access to participate in world storyline progressions. Not long after the universe was created Hey_Mister founded North Hope. This will be a peaceful town where there will be no problems and people are free to adventure, build and make friends as they like.
At town square the North Hope tavern is a meeting place, and provides rooms for new residents while they work on their home, across the street is the town hall offering a post office, map room and Nether portal.
North Hopes underground railway station. from here you can rail to the trader village Flinders Field, and the community mine. there is also more rail links to be planned in the future.
North hope also offers retail opportunities on town square, Harbour rd and Market lane.
A Public works building offers a central hub that houses a large range of materials, a work bench, and furnaces for use.
North Hope has a large range of central building plots next to spawn, near town square, on the coast and a new area under development offering ocean views close to town, or if you would prefer you can head out into the wild to find a plot yourself.
North hope has a zombie spawner and healing area, and a skeleton spawner all ready to go complete with Ender chests and enchantment rooms. The healing area transports the healed villagers up to the surface near town square where they can be traded with. they seem to prefer living on Market Lane
There is a community crop, animal and tree farm for use by everyone, just replenish what you take.
there are also two outposts to visit and explore from, the first is in a flower biome and the second is in a swamp, both are accessible by a secret rail system or overland.
The Nether has paths to a portal to a Mesa outpost, a Zombie Pigman grinder , and so far three Nether fortresses.

Our server features a gigantic 20,000 x 20,000 custom terrain with many biomes and trees which are carefully crafted for stormheart.
