We are a 1.16 survival server set to hard mode. We have a grief protection plugin, but otherwise we are basically vanilla. It is up to YOU to fortify your base against thieves and intruders. PvP is allowed, but we are more about exploring and building and being creative. There is no border, so you can explore as far and build your base anywhere you want.
I generally do not believe in resetting the world every so often like servers do. I hate it when I put a lot of work into a base and then the owner resets the world. That happened to me once and I was so pissed that I started my own server. So I do not take resetting the world lightly. In this case, the world was so old and lacking any of the latest features of Minecraft that I had to start with a new world. Nobody had played on the server in many months, anyway. I may make the old world available in spectator mode as a Multiverse world. Well see if there is any demand for that.

Finally, a word about the name. I am of German descent. I know that to many people in the world, the word Mein-something connotes evil. But the word mein simply means my. Meinwagen means my car. Works the same as a regular single player world except for a few tweaks: Keep inventory on, Mob griefing disabled only for ghasts and creepers, and the Dynmap plugin. There are no commands you need to know, no /home or /tpa, no kits, no weird GUI plugins, no worrying about formatting signs a certain way or messing with protections or holograms or anything, just basic, bare bones, true to the spirit of vanilla, and with limitless possibilities. We make full use of all of the original Vanilla gameplay’s mechanics and quirks, such as using Nether for fast transportation. You can do whatever you’d like (within the bounds of our rules, ofc). If you want to go off to a new part of the map and make that place your very own, you can do that as well. We’ve been hosting servers since 2012 and typically change worlds every update or so. All old world downloads get uploaded to our website at the end of a server, so you’ll always be able to go back to your creations one way or another.

EWGR is a fan-made server based on the original EndlessWarGaming server that since no longer exists. The story of EWG Old and the lore that was created way back in Minecraft 1.4 has been reborn into a modern interpretation of what EWG meant to us as fans. EWG (Old) Information
EWG was THE best Factions server. Originally started out as Towny but became factions and the idea behind EWG is that once a week all faction claimed territory was unprotected and you could grief, TNT, and enderpearl of the likes at your factions enemy, but only for a limited time. Once war was finished, the lands return to normal so it was very important to defend your faction on war day. If anyone from the original EWG makes it here, we’d love to catch up. Myself, JawaSlayer2, and Co-Owner, _Sodio, have since changed usernames and were formally known as chenderson2 and butterruler6 respectively.
