I started CoreMC about 2 years ago because I wanted a simple Minecraft community where anyone is welcome from highly technical people to elaborate builders to casual players. I'd tried many other servers but they either felt too easy with commands, disabled certain vanilla features, or devolved into anarchy where nobody could really trust anyone.

Actually Vanilla

The server runs the stock vanilla .jar, for better or worse. There are no datapacks, with the exception of a simple grief logging one ( More info ). All the gamerules are set to default values, and pretty much anything you can do in vanilla is allowed. The world was generated with the release of 1.18 and will not be reset.

Rules

The in-game rules are pretty straightforward and basically boil down to respect each other and the server.

No PVP/Griefing/Stealing. Respect the effort others put into their builds.
Anything possible in vanilla Minecraft is allowed here, except item dupe glitches. Don't do those.
Don't build anything that will cause excessive lag (keep in mind this is a vanilla JAR, so some optimizations and stuff that are present in paper/spigot/etc. aren't present here). You won't really be punished for this unless you're intentionally making lag machines or refuse to listen if you're asked to scale back.
Racism/Sexism/Homophobia/Transphobia/harassment of any kind is absolutely not allowed.
Hacking (xray, flyhacks, etc..) is 100% not allowed. Mods like Optifine or auto clickers are fine. If you're wondering if a client side mod is fine or not, please ask first.
Alt accounts are allowed as long as you're not using them to break the rules. If you have any you want to use let me know and I'll whitelist them.

The server has a Ryzen 5 3550H and 32GB of RAM (20 allocated to Minecraft) located in the Eastern United States. It's literally a broken gaming laptop I got for free, though all that's broken on it is cosmetic stuff.
To be completely honest with you, it's not very active which is why I'm trying to recruit more players. Turns out retaining people is kinda hard, easy to get bored of it if you're not someone who can keep making goals for yourself after you've reached the endgame. Lots of ppl will just get full enchanted netherite and an elytra and then get bored stop playing. Fortunately the server doesn't really cost me a meaningful amount, so even if it goes through periods of inactivity you can count on it still being online.

Hello, I am with E.G.G (Experienced Gamers Guild). We are looking for 18+ Minecraft players who are looking for a community to call home. We are currently in the process of figuring out how we want to run our server and need players to play test and provide suggestions. Yggdrasil is a server with mostly a vanilla feel, enhanced with some quality-of-life mods. Currently, the server is running Java 1.20.4, but we plan to upgrade to 1.21 once the vanilla tweaks data packs are available.

Cozy Corner is looking to expand our community! We are a 21+ community with a Minecraft Java server!

We plan to not reset the server ANY time soon and try to keep a relaxed environment.

We have backpacks, /spawn, /home, dynmap and typical datapacks from Vanilla Tweaks. We also have core protect for peace of mind!

Our discord community is all about building lasting friendships through gaming and similar interests. We do have a small but quick application process right when you join the discord but otherwise we really would love for you to check us out! Hello future friend! We have started Konohaven Season 3 for the 1.20 release! Our main focus this season will be about taking on the game of Minecraft together (community neighborhood, build projects, challenges, events). So if you are tired of playing Minecraft alone on a multiplayer server, come give us a try this season and see if we are a good fit for you!

We launched Season 3 on June 10 2023, but it is never too late to join as we plan to keep growing. Everyone can go at their own pace regardless of when they join.

Here is some basic info for our server:

1.20.2 Fabric (we are planning on updating to 1.21 very soon with an expanded world border)
Server located in the Eastern US (Virginia)
Hard Difficulty
Fire-Tick, Enderman Griefing, and Phantoms Disabled
Single-Player Sleep
Mostly vanilla (no fly, tp commands, paid ranks, etc.) with some quality of life mods

Optional Simple Voice Chat mod (no mods required to join server)
Diamond based player-run shop economy

Additional Details:

Shops – This season we will have minimal rules on shop themes or pricing of items. We welcome a friendly competitive environment. Only thing we ask of players is to keep things friendly… If there is a price war that starts to become toxic, then staff will intervene.

Events and Challenges – Plenty of events and challenges with unique rewards. (ex. Custom hats, knockback sticks.) Join us for karaoke, holiday-themed events, community build projects, and more!

Custom Models – We have custom items and hat models that require our lightweight resource pack to view, but the resource pack is absolutely not required to download.

Community Based Server – Although our focus is playing and building together this season, you are more than welcome to play on the server solo if you like. We have players located in the US, Canada, and much of Europe!
