The purpose of this server is to provide a simple “vanilla” Factions server for both Newbies and Grandmasters alike.
All features that are not an essential part of the Factions plugin (http://www.massivecraft.com/factions) are kept exactly as in vanilla. Beyond the protected spawn the players are free to explore the land and claim territory for their faction.
This way the players will have to rely on mining and/or raiding other factions, not shops.

We are a factions server with many amazing players and great staff. Raiding is ALLOWED. Raiding staff factions is ALLOWED. Griefing is ALLOWED. Scamming is ALLOWED. Swearing is allowed at a bare minimum. We have jobs, which is different for a factions server, but we have made it work well. We have a shop, and also a donation shop with kits that will make you scream to the heavens due to how amazing they are. We also have mcmmo and silkspawner. Dark Gothic and High Fantasy intertwined, Mortals and Mythos is a 16+ hardcore roleplaying server focused in mixing realism and science with the supernatural and pseudoscience. The world is laden with threats, rhymes and puzzles, and everything is intended for a full immersive experience. Lore is only learned through the libraries, old texts or events.
Athon is the continent wherein everything exists. In the current setting, players would have embarked on a long and treacherous eight-year journey that would eventually find themselves landed on new grounds.
Mortals and Mythos was founded in early 2023, and there is still many large projects until official release, however, during our Alpha phase, we have a plenty of story-arcs planned that will slide seamlessly into the final map.
