Lure is a prison server that is fully custom coded, with many unique features with plans to continue updating with community feedback. Our notable features are our custom skill system which is similar to MCMMO, however, its limited to Slayer, Woodcutting and Farming. Lure’s other main feature is our Dungeons system which parties can go and fight waves of mobs to win in-game loot at the end. We are small community comprised of respectful older adults. The majority are 30s+
Usually 2-6 online at a given time. There is a pretty good mix of time zones / work schedules so active players at most times. I have upgraded the hardware recently and can handle a more players.
Upgraded to 1.21. No PVP or anything like that to worry about (unless friendly scheduled event). There are NO mods and it's set to hard difficulty. This allows for a more technical style of game play.
If you are looking to join a group of players who want to make awesome builds, fantastic farms, and generally enjoy playing the game you have found your home.
The server is based in the USA, but the players 'across pond' have reported good pings and low lag, so wouldn't expect any issues regardless of location.

Hello all! We are currently looking for mildly to extremely active players to join the Minecraft server known as the Something SMP! We have lore/role-play on a modded server (mods of which include origins, image to map, enderite, claims, voice chat, and discord integrations, just to name a few).
However, it is NOT a requirement to be apart of the lore if you just want to play on the server!!
Just a heads up though, there are a few people on the server who do stream, so if you're uncomfortable with appearing on livestream that's something to note.

You can go into #applications to submit an application, and you can read more via the pinned message in #Something SMP info (It is required to join the discord server, as it has the custom mod-pack, server announcements and the rules of the server, this process also reduces the number of griefers and trolls).

Some other things to note include:
- This is a java server, with no plans for bedrock to be included at this stage.
- We have our end & nether reset every few months, so new players don’t have to spend as long hunting for nether & end items.
- The server owner is on GMT+8, so feedback regarding your application may be slow depending on your timezone.
- Most staff members are also on GMT+8, so applications may be slow depending on when it’s submitted.
- This season's lore cut-off point has already passed, so you won't be able to join lore this season, but you can still join next season's lore.

Rules
Alinea is a cooperative server, so most things that do not actively ruin the experience for other players are permitted. You can check an updated summary of the rules on our website. Various settlements on the server might agree to some additional rules amongst themselves.
Unstable enchantments
Alinea has a custom expansion to the vanilla enchantment system. Once you are rich and swimming in resources, you can try creating some unstable enchantments. Combining two max-level vanilla enchanted books, it will create an unstable book of the next level. These books cannot be added to tools or equipment, but must be polished by combining them with enchantment polish in an anvil. However, enchantment polish is extremely expensive.
Many enchantments are available up to level 20, but so far no one has managed to forge a book that powerful. Overpowered books, most notably looting, fortune and efficiency, do not have unstable variants, and are locked to the vanilla enchantment limit.
