GeoMC.io incorporates two servers, one being a faction’s server on MC version 1.12.2 and another featuring a Towny server that is on Minecraft version 1.15.2.
Both servers run on a 1:1000 scale version of Earth, meaning that you can stake your claim anywhere on the planet. Our map takes into account the real-world borders, marked with cobblestone and iron bars. It also features ores and topology based on real-life data and locations.
You’ll start out in Africa on both servers, and have to traverse to your wanted location or join a faction to instantly join your new comrades somewhere else on the world.
FACTIONS
Our factions server is where GeoMC.io began on Friday 10th May 2019, and as such is full of history and lore. Previous ruins of factions and nations who have fallen are scattered across the map, ripe for looting and claiming for your own.
There are also many established factions on the server who will happily accept you into their ranks. Could you help them to dominate the server?
You will also be able to delve into the seedy underworld to find hitmen and assassins to take out your enemies. Will you use stealthy options to destroy your rivals, or instead go out and declare total war.
Alliances and rivalries are a key part of the factions server. You will have to negotiate and discuss potential deals with other factions, whilst also creating alliances and rivalries with other players. Will you create the grand alliance to take over the world? Or will you stab your allies in the back to take more land? The decision is up to you.

TOWNY
On our Towny server, you don’t have to worry about other players coming in and destroying everything. There’s no war, instead an emphasis on working together and building some cool stuff.
Whether you want to rebuild your home in Minecraft, build a famous monument or even build something out of this world, this is all possible in GeoMC.io.
This world is very new, so there is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door early, and really make your mark on our server.
