Blockaholics.org is a Survival server; to gain building rights you need to read our rules at our website here. Once done, let a staff member know and they will give you a brief quiz. Answer the questions correctly to build. Keep in mind that you will not be able to leave spawn, build, or explore until you finish this process.
The server is over two years old as of July of this year and has an experienced staff to suit your needs. Just note that stuff will -not- be spawned for you if you ask. The server is Survival at heart and will be treated as such.

Our spawn area is 400×400 blocks and contains a number of resources for our players.

The community resources quarter includes a public library for enchanting, public brewhouse for brewing, public farm(with all trees and farm-able crops), portal hub, PVP/Mob battle/Pig racing/ CTF Colosseum, blacksmith shop and more.

In addition, we have a Housing district for those who like to live by spawn, a market district and a pixel art district.

The rules for the server are listed on the site, as mentioned above, and will be enforced. Breaking the rules may result in a ban without warning. Ban appeals may be made on our website, linked above, in the correct forum and using the correct template (listed in the sticky).

My main goal is to give everyone the perfect minecraft experience. I used to spend a lot of time looking for a good server. All of them had something wrong with them, either mean admins, or too much power given to donors, or people killing you as soon as you logged on. I hated that, so I set out to make my own server as good as possible. I love to make people feel welcomed.

So about MythicDrops. This is probably the coolest plugin Ive ever seen. Pretty much it is Diablo III in minecraft. Every mob in the game has a chance to spawn holding a randomized item of a random rarity. The rarities range from common to legendary. Common would be something like a stone sword, and a legendary would be something like a bow with power XX, punch X, unbreaking XXX, fire aspect X, and then 9 sockets. Speaking of sockets, you can put in gems. Gems drop off of mobs too, and there are some really cool ones. There is one called withering that withers the enemy that you hit. Another blinds the enemy. The list goes on and on, but overall it is really cool. The best part is, anybody has an equal chance of getting them. No more crazy over powered donators. Here, check it out.
