If you want a large, player-filled server where you have no clue who over 90% of the people are- Vortexel is NOT the server for you.
We are a small community, just like the way servers were before the age of the super-servers. We offer plenty of fun things to do around spawn, such as a fully automated Connect 4 machine or totally massive VDM (Vortexel Dance Machine)! Spawn is full of stuff to do, and even some easter eggs- free prizes if you can locate their hiding spot!
We do NOT offer buycraft, where one can buy items/ranks and become more overpowered, no, we believe in a fair game. One faction can be the most powerful one day and reduced to rubble the next, just by everyday players like you and me.
As for gameplay, we run Minecraft version 1.10.2, complete with economy, factions, and signshops! Money can get fueled in often and quickly, so I, Thundermagnet, your server admin, have created a HUGE event that only takes place at maximum once a month… The Vortexel Auctions at the Auction House! At these auctions, it is not uncommon to have insanely good items going at insanely high prices. No worries, there are plenty of ways to get money!

Epsilon Prison is a one of a kind prison server founded by Jpriani13. First launched in July, Epsilon Prison features over 50 plugins, a custom built map, and an insane fun gameplay experience! Ranking up from A to Z, having fun with friends and other players, auctions and mob arena are just a tiny part of what Epsilon Prison is about! You will start your journey as a “A” rank, You start at the bottom but you work your way up. The mine inside of A is made out of Stone, and Coal Ore, and the log mine is made out of regular wooden logs, and as you gather the materials and sell them to the shop, you’ll be able to rank up to B rank after $30,000. To rank-up type /rankup. When you rank up the shops and mines become better and better. When you reach D rank you get a plot where you can store your items, make a house, or make a shop to make money. The ranks go from A-Z and once you get to Z you can become FREE rank. At free rank you can have access to the real world to get rare items. When you are Free you can either prestige and go back to A rank or stay free and help your friends get there with you. What if Germany won ww1? In this fictional scenario Germany won the first world war, after a mere decade of peace it is now the 1930s and trouble is once again brewing. We use the plugin movecraft to focus gameplay on the use of tanks, planes, ships and other vehicles in addition to our dynamic economy and political landscape.
New Beginnings Minecraft started out 4 years ago with a small group of friends and has grown into a community with over 3,000 registered accounts. That being said our player base is not nearly that large, we usually top out at 25 people online at once and 10 people is an average night. We are a very small tight knit community focused group.
First off, we are using a custom map with gorgeous biomes and very unique scenery. Despite it being custom, you can still mine for all resources at virtually all Y levels and the underground system is even larger than your typical survival map. Oceans sit lower to make for much larger mountain-scapes.
Historically we reset the map every time a major patch came out, but with such a large map we have decided it won’t reset to encourage large scale projects.
We use a variety of premium plugins, which are entirely self-funded through generous donations to keep the server running. Everything invested into the server returns to the server in content release/maintenance and premium plugin installations. (Some of which are our Shop plugin, McMMO, an inventory management plugin, etc.)
We have recently uploaded a new map which is not custom and is primarily for resource gathering/exploration. This map has no livemap to promote a sense of wonder, and is also used for PvP among the player-base.
We also offer a monthly building competition where we allow the players to claim plots and build a build in teams or solo in a designated theme. These get judged on a variety of factors and we give those winners prizes from in-game prizes to real life gift cards.
Rules: We have a lot of trust in our players, and have CoreProtect to track and ban griefers. Here are our basic rules:
You may not:
Grief, steal and hack.
PvP unless both parties agree to PvP.
Build in unauthorized areas, or buildings that do not comply to town rules.

Kill as many mobs and NPCs as you want.
