Welcome to VolosMC! A brand new Earth map Towny server.
On the server, players create and join real modern and historical nations in their real life locations on a 1:1000 scale map of the world. You can go to war, forge alliances, and build amazing societies to your heart’s content. The catch here is that this server will be the first ever to take things seriously. Nations can enforce their own laws given that they do not damage players’ server experiences, institute visa regimes, sign trade deals, create international corporations, and engage in international diplomacy. VolosMC also has a United Nations General Assembly where nations can resolve issues on the server and decide on certain international laws.
However, we will use our UN General Assembly for more than just server disputes. VolosMC will be the first ever server in the history of Minecraft to host Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. Main Features:
NEW!! Custom Fishing – We just released our very own custom fishing system with 170 custom fish to catch! As you catch new fish species you'll unlock them in your "fishdex" which provides information about the fish to share with others in the community who haven't yet caught that species. Can you collect them all?
Towny – We use the tried and true Towny plugin for land claiming and community building! You can create a solo town and build massive farms to become rich, create a huge city with tons of members to help you achieve your goals, or join a town with a couple of friends to create a cozy homestead.
Skills – You can level up fourteen unique skills to increase your stats (such as health, defense, and attack damage). Reaching the highest levels in each skill unlock unique abilities to make you even more powerful!
Jobs – We offer thirteen jobs that pay you for anything from mining, to building, to fishing, and everything in between. Jobs are the most important way to build your wealth on the server.
Player Economy – Our economy is entirely player driven! Shops on the server set prices for goods and services without any intervention, this leads to a very organic economy where you can carve out your own niche. The only admin shops on the server can be found in our mall /warp mall. These shops sell custom furniture blocks like tables and chairs to decorate your base!
Custom Enchantments – Our server features over 200 unique enchantments to build your playstyle the way you want! All enchants are achieved through normal gameplay mechanics.
Craftable Gear – You can craft tons of unique custom armor sets, tools, and talismans to become more powerful or add unique abilities.
Custom Resources – We have resource worlds which reset on the first of each month! Here you can find custom ores and plants which can be used for decoration or can be used to craft some our custom gear!

Waychest is a custom-built realization of the hypothetical Minecraft world I have always fantasized about. Thematically, it is a hybrid of a public multiplayer server and a private Realm: a world where you (and friends) start your Journey on what appears to be your own server. But as you explore, you will discover that you are not alone: custom items and blocks will guide you across the world to the people who came before you.
Feature Highlights: (Every non-vanilla mechanic was designed and built specifically for this server)
- "Journey" System: The core mechanic that puts you and anyone else you choose into your own "server". You can even create multiple Journeys, each with its own random spawn point, progress through the game, and group of friends.
- Waychests: Special blocks that act as beacons, reaching across the world to guide Journeys to find each other, and rewarding everyone who does so.
- "Waychest Flight" Minigame: Play an in-world ring challenge with a borrowed elytra to find other Journeys without the walking.
- Discovery-based Warps: Fast travel between certain blocks – but you have to find a warp point to unlock it first.
- Integrated Region Protection: Waychests that you place also create an expandable area of block and container protection.
- "Radiance": Skip the night without skipping the night. Since the world is shared, sleeping instead gives a "Radiance" effect that prevents nearby surface mob spawns for the rest of the night.
- Region Maps: Loot maps that generate pre-explored with the surrounding region. Build a map wall without the tedium!
- No Monetization: There are no premium perks, donator tiers, or money accepted in any form.
