Brinezone is a new server aimed towards the average survival Minecraft player looking for a more interactive experience.

Grief Prevention means once an area is claimed, nobody but you can modify or take items from containers in your claim.

Lay siege to others claims with Grief Prevention’s /siege command. During a siege defenders are unable to access their belongings, build, or break blocks in their claim. To stop the siege the defenders must defeat oroutlast their attacker. If the attacker defeats the defender in siege warfare, the defenders claim will be accessible for a short time in order to allow the attacker to loot the defenders drops.

It has been almost 250 years since the war of the ring. Aragorn’s grandson now holds the throne of the now United Kingdom. The orcs have been crippled without the organized command of sauron or the nazgul and many lands have been taken from them. Western Morder was swiftly annexed as well as much of Eriador. Without their support, Near Harad quickly lost to Gondor, surrendering many lands. The Rhudaur hillmen have taken control of Angmar just as the Dunlendings have taken over most Uruk lands. Just as before the war, Galadhrim and Lindon elves flocked to Valinor. Lothlorien and Rivendell weaken by the day. Only Mirkwood stands strong and solid after retaking most of the forest. Similarly, the Dwarves of the Blues are the only ones who stand strong as Moria has fallen, as have the Greys and Iron Hills and Erebor is under constant siege. With the army that was supposed to aid Sauron in the war, Rhudel annexed Dorwinion, the Eastern Dwarves and Eastern Mordor. They now have a puppet controlling half of Dale in their attempt to conquer it… This is the age of men, Dwarves and Elves are few and the Orcs are disorganized… may Eru help us all…

Rules

Alinea is a cooperative server, so most things that do not actively ruin the experience for other players are permitted. You can check an updated summary of the rules on our website. Various settlements on the server might agree to some additional rules amongst themselves.

Unstable enchantments

Alinea has a custom expansion to the vanilla enchantment system. Once you are rich and swimming in resources, you can try creating some unstable enchantments. Combining two max-level vanilla enchanted books, it will create an unstable book of the next level. These books cannot be added to tools or equipment, but must be polished by combining them with enchantment polish in an anvil. However, enchantment polish is extremely expensive.

Many enchantments are available up to level 20, but so far no one has managed to forge a book that powerful. Overpowered books, most notably looting, fortune and efficiency, do not have unstable variants, and are locked to the vanilla enchantment limit.

What seems like forever ago, Lovecraft, a vanilla Minecraft community still early in its existence, disappeared into the void together with its owner. We, a dedicated group of players and friends that played on it, have no clue where it went, but it left us without a home. We decided to not let that setback get to us and to continue its legacy in the form of a new server, where we could continue to express our creativity and unleash our wildest ideas. Our humble network of servers boasts game modes and features requested from within the community. Including not only Survival and Creative servers but the occasional Modpack, vanilla Skyblock, games nights on public servers and more.

By carefully maintaining our own dedicated hardware exclusive to PlanB, we do not rely on the poorly maintained or oversold shared servers typically used in small communities. Alongside carefully handpicked or custom-written plugins, healthy RAM and CPU allocation, regular backups, and restarts help to ensure we provide the smoothest gameplay we can.

Pandamium's snapshot server is a experimental, vanilla, SMP server that updates to every new snapshot with all experiments enabled. Be one of the first to play with brand new features and learn more about the game with friends!

Our aim is to update to every new snapshot that comes out (usually every Wednesday) with experimental features enabled such as bundles, and 1.21 content! We discuss new and upcoming features, and host watch parties for Minecraft Live every year! If you join now you will be able to experiment with the crafters, Trial Chambers, the breeze, vaults, wind charges, the bogged, the mace, 20 new paintings, 3 new music discsand so much more!

We have a very friendly community and multiple towns to join with a diamond-based trading economy. Since the height of our popularity from 2019 to 2022, the community has gotten a bit smaller but we still average around 10 players online at any given time. We reset the End every month to allow for exploration of end cities for new players, and we run an enchanced dragon fight once per month with a dragon egg up for grabs, but we aim to never reset the overworld and nether.

We expect to be reworking many aspects of the server over this new year including adding warps and mailing using the latest data pack tech, and introducing more ways to have fun with friends in the snapshots!
