The World of Aethius

Set on the continents of Aversia, Aethier features a custom rendered map full of unique player factions, dungeons to explore, and beautiful landscapes. The server boasts a Medieval high fantasy setting with countless possibilities: questing knights, powerful mages, vampire-like Vallah, Dwarves, plant people Sinnehliv, mer-folk Syrien, animalistic Dryads and Leonin, holy paladins, demonic servants, and much, much more! Aethier prides itself on its expansive lore and diverse setting. Aethier is a roleplay heavy server, meaning that the primary facets of the server, such as politics and combat, rely on roleplay rather than faction plugins or vanilla minecraft mechanics. The Community

Whether it be in game or on our respective TeamSpeak and Discord servers, Aethier features a robust and welcoming community that is not only dedicated to the server but is also passionate about welcoming new players regardless of their previous experiences in roleplay or lack thereof. Aethier is run by a collection of teams including Welcome Team, Moderation Team, Lore Team, Event Team, Factions Team, Custom Items Team, and Operations Team, all of which are made up of dedicated players who want to see the server succeed.

The Factions

The major factions on Aethier are ever changing as power shifts hands in the political system. A vast majority of our factions are player made and run, with the exceptions of a few event factions run by Event Team to further add to the diversity of our setting and detail of the storyline. Systems and Features

Highly customizable systems for character progression including magic, shamanism, demonbrands, divinity, and more!

Unique traits such as Vallah (our version of Vampires), Lycanthropy (werewolf-esque), Jacobin’s Bane (skeleton type trait), and more!

Immersive lore for unique plants, animals, metals, and more written in-house by Aethier’s Lore Team.

Aethier original political and war systems created by our very own Faction Team.

Players can roleplay to receive custom lored items through our Custom Items and Professions systems, including weapons, armor, alchemical concoctions, tamed animals, combat pets, war mounts, and more!

An event system where players can schedule custom tailored DMed events from our Event Team in addition to the server-wide event lines provided to everyone.

Fun random events to spice up everyday roleplay life.

The Land of Aversia – Showcases our map complete with brief descriptions of the various landmasses.
Dryads – One of our most popular races, dryads are a forest animal-human hybrid race.
Sinnehliv – A more unique Aethier race, Sinnehliv are plant people who can vary from soft, bendable plant bodies to Sinnehliv with tougher wooden patches.
Vallah – Aethier’s unique take on Vampirism, Vallahism provides options for further character progression with more evolved forms of the trait.
Sterk – Goddess of War, Sterk is one of our Gods tailored to characters interested in the more mundane forms of combat.
