Retro Lands is a project that is being custom coded to create an environment for a fun PVE experience which has the advantage of being able to rapidly update alongside new builds of Spigot and Paper. Bringing the old school survival experience back to life. The server focuses more on the survival aspect of the game, but the gameplay experience is very different from single player in various ways. One of them being – figuring out ways to hide your base from other players, so they wouldn’t steal your loot and destroy your base. Or the economy system, that is certaintly a bit harsh on the players, but at the same time it’s very worth it.
Now, since you can’t protect your buildings or chests from other players you have to really hide them, but there is another option and that would be creating a faction, or joining one! Though creating a faction is definetely not cheap or easy, but in return you get a great place to keep your belongins in. That’s great and all, but don’t forget, that now you might have other factions coming for you to claim your land!
Also, this server represents a server that was running in about 2012 and it went by the name, well, RaidCow PvP. Yes, we have a very similar name. Our server is also very similar to the original, the faction and raiding features work pretty much the same and the survival is one of the main focuses. The server also has a similar look to it.
Lastly, while playing on this server, you will notice that it feel quite a bit like the vanilla experience and it should, because the server does try to maintain that simple vanilla gameplay experience.So if you want to get some of that simple minecraft survival gameplay with a few interesting twists, try this server out!
