The Club SMP is an 18+ vanilla Minecraft server started in early 2022 with the goal of uniting a community of friends using Minecraft as a medium. We believe that true fun in Minecraft comes with the interactions and friends you make while playing. HARDWARE & SETUP
Alongside our amazing community, we also boast a fully self-hosted dedicated machine for the server, running modern blazing-fast hardware topped off with carefully tweaked server-sided optimization mods. This ensures minimal impact of lag while maintaining vanilla parity and allows our players to focus on what matters the most: gameplay. Why Blithe?
We have a very active and engaging community of over 250 whitelisted members, regularly seeing 10-15 players active at one time. We are a community that prides itself on engagement and fun, hosting weekly regular server games and events for prizes. We are a server inspired by the popular Hermitcraft SMP, taking some of the fan favorite features from this and implementing them in new and exciting ways!
We run on a super powerful server with 256GB ram, meaning that the server is always up 24/7 with minimal to no lag.
We use a mod pack that is totally optional to improve your player experience, including things such as proximity chat and a minimap/hudmod. These are totally optional though, and do not affect core gameplay, which we try to keep as close to vanilla as possible, only adding some plugins and datapacks such as multiplayer sleep and customizable armor stands to improve the multiplayer experience!
We also have a Creative server for everyone to freely use to plan and test builds and designs, and a Last Life server which runs sessions every weekend if you want to scratch that more competitive itch.

About Us:
The Flare Community and its Flare SMP were founded on April 14, 2023, by me, Antimony_Sb. My good friend, who fills the role of creative director, and I aim to provide our players with a relaxed semi-vanilla experience in a mature and "serious" environment. Enhanced Vanilla gameplay and Quality of Life. Our aim is to keep as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible, while offering a few quality-of-life features and datapacks to avoid unnecessarily annoying mechanics.
HermitCraft-like environment. We love the Hermits and have some of their heads available in wandering trader inventories to collect and display. We also operate under a (mostly) diamond-based economy with central community builds near spawn and a generally collaborative nature to our worldbuilding.
Creative server. Flex your creativity muscles on our creative server, using the same seed as our SMP so you can plan your projects with precision.
Safety and protection. Your creations are safe with us, and staff can quickly revert any griefs or unwanted edits. We regularly back up the world and use admin plugins to ensure fair play and protection on our paper-based server.
