WorldWarMC has recently been redeveloped and reset, and it's back with a very different kind of Earth server. You'll need to download the official modpack before joining, since the server is modded and built around a more complete war and nation-style experience.
The server uses a huge Earth map and mixes in weapons, armour, and uniforms from 500 BC all the way to the 1940s. On top of that, you'll also find technologies ranging from railways and industry to space programs, so there's plenty to work with whether you're building, fighting, or trying to grow a settlement.
There are also NPC villages with different cultures that you can ally with or conquer, which fits the roleplay and conquest side of the server really well. If you're looking for a modded Earth world with survival, PvP, raiding, and town-building all in one place, WorldWarMC is trying to do something a bit bigger than the usual setup.
