-What you should do
You spawn at spawn do the tutorial to befriend all things.
Choose 2 professions you can level up with the action of the profession (you always get money with the level upgrade what you have done this level)
Pack unnecessary things in your backpack or end chest (you won’t lose your backpack when you die, EC not!)
Open 3 free crates at the crate openings for free money or items (you can get these back on Mobloot)
Buy 1-2 things at the spawn to prepare yourself.
Do /Clan and join a clan for more security
Get your first reward streak (open daily the more often the better items)
Do /rtp to go to a random location
Look for trees that fall down after a block break then make useful stuff out of them.
Fight a couple of enemies to get loot.
Go into a cave and farm ore and stone (upgrade your pickaxe through stone mining) / ax through trees / shovel through dirt
By mining stone, ores, grass, earth, wood etc you get random loot like money or items.
Make yourself armor because enemies can get pretty strong
Go looking for structures and dungeons there is always good loot
Save your items set a home with /sethome (name) and look for a place for a claim
With /Claim you can create a country/Costs 1000$ creates a normal 1:1 chunk that you can enlarge and invite friends
With /Land you can set flags and other things
