We are mainly a Creative server but we also have Towny and an up-and-coming Minigames server!
We have 2 main plot worlds, one massive 300×300 block plot world and a smaller 150×150 block plot world. Feel free to build in both! And when you have a plot filled, a staff member can give you another plot to work on, or merge your plot with another to get a MegaPlot!
We are one of the very few creative servers that give almost completely restricted access to new players straight off the bat. There’s no ranking up to get commands, you will have them from the word go. Our brush size isn’t limited to a measly 5 blocks either! you can take it up to 20 if you like!
As well as that, we have installed craftscripts like BuildCommands so you can build even more amazing builds.

Vanguard is a large scale Medieval Empire building server that runs on a 20x20k procedurally generated map. The server is constantly updated to keep up with new features, including the latest 1.13 & 1.14 Villages and Pillagers update. Complete with a custom plugin called ‘Civs’, you and your people are able to construct useful and meaningful buildings that have a range of uses, such as passively generating resources for your Empire, or defending your people and land from attacks. Weve striven to make our server as simple as possible. On Sky Lair, the focus is on Factions. The Faction gamemode was made to be competitive. When servers give out free diamonds to everyone, it ruins that competitive aspect. Weve tried our best to keep Factions competitive.

A Powerful Economy
Weve tried our best to keep a dynamic economy. Rather than sell everything in one central server shop, our players are given a chance to rent and build their own shops. And because of that, our economy is dynamic. It changes based on what the players think are good prices.

Diamonds Have Worth
How many servers nowadays do you see that have donator kits that give things like “3 sets of Protection IV Diamond Armor” or that give you free diamond armor the moment you join? That ruins the entire economy. As you know, diamonds are the pinnacle of a minecraft economy. Ruin the worth of diamonds, and your entire economy collapses. We think weve found the sweet spot of diamond value.

SEASONS: Seasons are the biggest feature on our server! Every season has a new theme! For example, perhaps one season there is no elytras, or another there is two factions, or another there is dungeons! No matter what, every season will bring you something new!
NO HARD RESETS: You may think seasons mean we will reset the map and you will lose all your work. However, each season we simply reset inventories and move to a different area of the map! Therefore your work is never lost!
CROSSPLAY: Bedrock and Java allowed!
NO CLAIMS: You do not need to mess with claim plugins! You can build wherever you want (with some restrictions). What’s the use of a sandbox game when you’re restricted? But don’t worry, your builds ARE protected (check protection).
EVENTS: We host outside of the server events with popular gamemodes such as hunger games, build battle, and kit pvp. We also do custom gamemodes you won’t find anywhere else like maze runner, total drama island, and super smash mobs!
PROTECTION: Your builds are 100% protected by rollbacks and core inspect. These features allow you to have anything stolen or destroyed to be restored with a single command.
WHITELISTED: Our server may be public for anyone to join, but we have an application process and only those who are accepted may join the server! You can apply on our discord!
NO PAY TO WIN: We do have a donator rank, but that is only for fun little cosmetics. You can also get the donator rank through other means other than money! Everyone has equal opportunity.
COMMUNITY RAN: Almost everything added is voted upon by the server. Plugins, events, changes, removals and so on. Your word matters just as much as everyone else.
