Hillcrest is an SMP server with some extra features for those who are bored of typical vanilla. While the pure game is great, you have all seen it before. I have attempted to take some of my favorite plugins I have used over my Minecraft years to culminate a server experience that is fun, more complex and more rewarding than typical vanilla.
If you like pure vanilla and just the pure basics of Minecraft alone, this server probably isn’t for you. There is a huge amount of servers out there for vanilla.

Server Summary

It feels like a realm more than a server. Please apply for greylisting!

You wont be bogged down by protection plugins for large scale builds

We have avoided adding typical plugins like McMMO and rankup

World border is 15k x 15k, KeepInv is on and Difficulty is Hard

Server dynmap

200 Enchants (Thor, Beheading, Buchering, heaps of cool shit)

Slimefun (but with the super OP stuff disabled: androids, fortune 5 pics ect)

The server viewdistance is 14 (if you have a good pc like me this is magical)

Custom terrain to compliment a decent viewdistance (with a vanilla resource world)

Server Specifications
Because we run some pretty beefy plugins, have a high viewdistance, are on hard difficulty and have no mob caps we are on a top of the line hosting plan. We run on 10gb of ram and the dedicated core of an Intel Core i9 9900k. We will be upgrading to the 5950X when it is available.

I made this custom modpack with the goal to create a role playing/rpg community heavily server. With mods like Origins with addons, create with addons, alex mobs/caves, apotheosis with addons, better combat, cisco’s content, easy magic/anvils, farmers delight with addons, forbidden and arcanus, FTBchunks/ranks/teams/ultimine/quests, iron spells and spellbooks with addons, ice and fire with addons, integrated dungeons and structures/stronghold, iron chests/furnaces, L2 hostility, Minecolonies, Mowzies mobs, passive skill tree, relics, simply swords, small ships, sophisticated backpacks, the twilight forest, the aether, toms simple storage, towns and towers, twigs, valoria, vampirism, waystones, werewolves and dungeons arise/seven seas are the highlights! Create will be the tech side with creating factories, steampunk trains, and anything else you can thing of making tasks not as bad, as well the making of steam punk guns for non magic users. Origin’s gives you the ability to choose how your play in this survival keep inventory server. Picking a race, class, magic alignment, back round and 2nd class choice. With tons of pages of races making a unique build with be very easy especially with the skill tree playing its part making you stronger as you grow. Having the choice to decorate and making your base feel lived in and look amazing, with plenty of mods adding fitting the medieval/steampunk vibe. Hey! I’ve been working on a PVE survival multiplayer server, and it would be great to get some players joining to test it out and start creating a small community. For now, the server is capped at 20 players, but we will expand as we grow!
