DayZ is a unique post-apocalyptic server. The game is a reworking of the modification of the same name for the game Arma 2, created by game designer Dean Hall.
The game takes place in the fictional post-Soviet state of Chernorussia, whose inhabitants, as a result of some cataclysm, turned into aggressive zombies. The character controlled by the player must survive in a hostile environment, avoiding enemies and obtaining weapons, food and other supplies in abandoned buildings.
