Welcome to Vanilla Grove, a pure vanilla survival server with a whitelist that will be launching at the beginning of August 2025. Many Minecraft servers today are oversaturated with pay-to-win donator ranks and loot crates, which take away from a fair gameplay experience. Vanilla Grove is not a server created to generate money, and besides a small voting reward, there are zero outside forms of compensation.
The server is completely vanilla, with no gameplay-changing plugins or mods. However, the server offers a dynamic map that can be viewed from a web browser to get a sense of which direction you may want to travel when on the spawn island. Additionally, Vanilla Grove has a Discord server, which will be used to get onto the server whitelist, connect with other server members, and view in-game chat.
The goal of Vanilla Grove is to foster a small community of mature players who want a change from the typical fast-paced atmosphere of large servers. With that said, this server is player-driven and is somewhat Hermitcraft-inspired, with no server economy, quests, or towny features. Players are free to play however they may want as long as the server rules are followed. Occasional server events may happen depending on player interest through Discord.
As previously mentioned, the server will be launching at the beginning of August and is player-driven. A suggestion channel is open on Discord for any changes or suggestions you may have. More information regarding the server can be found on the Discord server. I hope to see you there!

Server Rules:
Be respectful of other players’ space and wishes.
Do not destroy, alter, or take items from builds you didn’t create.
No killing of other players unless a previous agreement was made.
No hacks, x-ray texture packs, or mods that give unfair advantages.
No spamming or excessive caps.
English is preferred in main chat.
Glitches such as tree farms or sand dupers are allowed.
Large redstone contraptions and farms are allowed within reason.
