This won't 100% be happening, just thinking about it at the moment, i've ran small servers in the past, did it consistently for 2 or 3 years (stopping around a year and a half ago) so i have some past experience. It'd be semi-vanilla, by that i just mean vanilla minecraft (as close to the latest version as i can get) with the addition of some qol plugins just to help prevent griefing, cheating, etc. (only rollback plugins and things so nothing to affect usual gameplay). I personally won't be using anything like voice chat however i can always add things like the simple voice chat plugin if that's what people want but otherwise won't be so only talking in chat is completely fine. I'd make this with the aim of having a nice, not too large, not too small community, im not afraid to remove people if i feel like they're violating this, obviously with warning beforehand, but im not afraid of "abusing my powers" if it means a better experience for everyone else even if nobody actually "broke the rules" in any way. I do ask that you only show interest in this if you will be present in the server – logging on now and again, once every few days minimum really – if work or school or restrictions only allow you a day or two a week thats fine too, and also not isolating yourself within the minecraft server itself, typically people do this due to fear of thieves, griefing etc. but with the plugins i'll add, any damage can be undone so this is nothing to worry about.
