Purge Survival MC is a great new way of playing Vanilla Minecraft. When we were creating the server the big problem we realised is new players are very often overshadowed by the players that had been playing for months, they had the bigger farms, massive storage systems and dominated any shopping districts.
Our solution? A weekly PURGE.
Every Saturday for 3 hours, stealing and PVP is allowed. This simple event has great potential for really turning the tide. Will you be like robin hood and steal from the rich to help the poor? Got a beef with someone and want to settle the score? Or do you just want to make yourself rich instead? Everything is possible during the weekly purge. Just remember, you may want to beef up the security in your base, as you soon may become the next target!
We have aimed to keep the server as vanilla as possible, but have added a few extras to help make your experience more enjoyable. Such as the fact you can claim the land around your base and have it shown on Dynmap (Disabled during purge, and claiming provides no protection).
Our rules are simple, no griefing, and no PVP or stealing outside of a purge. Keep it friendly and polite. Other then that, have fun!
