Espresso SMP is your run of the mill survival server, but instead of massive farms/ machines peppering the world, or mega bases that require massive feats of altering terrain, we encourage players to adhere to the natural world*,* build towns, explore for resources, and enjoy the thing that makes Minecraft Minecraft.
Of course, once you join, you're free to do as you please: build where you want, build what you want – as long as you aren't griefing or purposefully disrupting someone's experience in the game. This is not an RP server (although you can roleplay if you want) but most of the builds already in game will probably have a bit of story behind them to make exploration feel engaging and give life to the world.
The server is open 24/7 and on the latest version [1.21]. We do not have a discord server (yet), so our main form of communication for now will be using the message/announcement board in the main town, delivering letters to people's mailboxes, or using the built-in chat feature that Minecraft already has.
