Civilization of the Rubies

Welcome to the Civilization of the Rubies!

On the Civilization of the Rubies server, the goal is to simulate civilization. How? Well, it is up to the players to decide how to make the civilization.

There are a few rules and important info pieces on the server, however:

  1. NO LAG MACHINES. Any use of lag machines results in a command block being added in-game that will continually kick the perpetrator forever in a ban-like state.
  2. NO HACK CLIENTS. Again, the command block ban thing would happen if we suspect you are hacking.
  3. We self-host the server with an M1 MacBook Air running macOS Sonoma, and we try to keep the server on for as long as possible (unless a kernel panic or other thing happens and we then have to restart the server).
  4. In Civilization of the Rubies, the player called Dev is the in-lore god (Creator of the Land in-lore) and is the only player on the server with creative mode and cheats, while other players are in survival mode and no cheats. They are also the admin and owner of the server as well, so please don't incur their in-game wrath.
  5. Do NOT enter the blocked-off Netherite portal in-game. This portal is to the Disaster Dimension, which can cause kernel panics or blue screens to whomever happens to be in the dimension (players outside of that dimension would be just fine). It is full of TNT (which lights immediately) and ant mobs and trees made of TNT as well.
  6. Try to, at the very least, make some sort of civilization, if possible (although you don't have to make a civilization here).
  7. Most importantly, have fun on the server (make sure the Better Minecraft mod is installed in Forge 1.20.1, by the way (Java players can therefore play, but Bedrock players cannot))!
