Brennyn Sabar recently started a new Minecraft world, featuring our custom datapack.
Our community has been around for over a decade; we currently have 6-8 active members and we're hoping to double that amount.
We’re seeking dedicated Minecrafters that are interested in playing long-term with a small community, much like Hermitcraft. We're an old-school survival server with a tight-knit community that has a real passion for the game. Check out our website for more info.
The highlight of our server is Foundation, a one-of-a-kind datapack that adds quality-of-life improvements, dozens of new items, fresh biomes, and three new dimensions. Foundation keeps the things we love about Minecraft while extending the life of the game.
All of this runs completely server-side, so no special client modifications are required besides the server resource pack, which downloads automatically.
Documentation is in progress, but in the meantime, a trailer is availableand the developer is *sometimes* around and willing to answer questions.
We use no major game-changing plugins or alterations beyond Foundation, and we want to maintain the vanilla spirit of the game.
We just started a new map, so most of our activity is still centered around our spawn town, the great city of Birdplate – it's a long story – and it wouldn't take long for a new player to catch up.
The server is hosted in New Jersey, using dedicated hardware with great performance. We are running 1.20.6 at the moment but will be updating to 1.21 once the datapack is updated.
We're running Fabric with the Simple Voice Chat, SquareMap, and No Chat Reports mods.
Using the voice chat is recommended but not required; the server has a rich and thriving Perpetually Muted community living in a cave down by the river.
I am the owner and one of the admins. The other admin is KirbAvion. He is responsible for creating the Foundation datapack that the server uses.
We're also open to anyone looking to produce videos on the server, because right now it's just Kirb and he's sick of being, as he puts it, "the sole conduit between Brennyn Sabar and the outside world."
Most of the members are aged 21-26, but we are accepting applications from anyone age 18 or older. Basic server rules apply. (No stealing, hacking, bullying, etc..).
