Blacklight SMP is a survival world built from the ground up, with a fully custom plugin that adds hundreds of mechanics on top of vanilla survival. It plays the same on Java and Bedrock too, with full crossplay through Geyser, so you can bring your friends without worrying what edition they use.
The server leans into factions and land control, so you can found a faction, claim territory, set faction homes, manage a shared treasury, and go to war if that is your thing. Claimed land is protected, and faction-wide buffs make it worth playing together instead of just doing your own solo grind.
There is also a big progression side to it with jobs and mastery. Pick a profession and earn money while you mine, farm, fish, hunt, build, and trade. You can climb ranks from Apprentice to Legend, unlock mastery traits and active abilities, and even run up to three job slots at once.
On top of that, Blacklight has deep forging and metallurgy, player markets, admin shops, regional faction shops, multiblock teleporter networks, item-protecting graves, vote crates, custom items, custom models, and active updates from the developer. The world itself has ancient underground ruins, rift events, hidden groves, astrolabe navigation, and ambient magic to keep exploration feeling worthwhile.
