The Embrace is a Minecraft server with an emphasis on community

– RANKS –

There are only 5 ranks on the server, allowing for a flat hierarchy and creating a sense of equality among players old and new:

Newbie, Member, Trusted, Mod, Admin

Members have access to all permissions that the higher ranks have, except for things that are purely staff-related. The only exception to this is that Mods have /fly, but this is to aid them in their duties as a moderator. View more information on our rank structure here.

– SURVIVAL –

Our survival world is set to easy mode and /back is available to all Members so that items are not permanently lost on death. The spawn area is small but protected, while the rest of the world is untouched! We use LWC for locking containers, blocks and entities, while also having CoreProtect, which enables us to roll back any grief/theft that may occur. All Trusted players can see block logs and Mods and Admins are able to roll things back and perform wider lookups.

– CREATIVE –

Our creative world is a superflat world that is 63 blocks deep instead of the standard 4, giving players the option to build underground structures. There are no plots, so there’s no limit on how big you can build, we just ask that you try not to interfere with other players’ builds.

– COMMUNITY –

We have a Discord server for our players to meet and mingle on – do /discord in game for the link. Both the Minecraft and Discord servers are still being worked on and we are accepting feedback from the community, so if you have a suggestion, let us know!

We’re happy to announce the opening of our new whitelist-only server and community: Campfire SMP!

As we’re a relatively new server, we’re eagerly looking for players to join our passion project to assist with a few initial builds, the establishment of some public facilities for players to use (such as a library, shopping plots for players to build on) and to become apart of our growing community.

Despite being based in Australia, we have and will continue to openly welcome any person, unconditionally of their nationality, location, etc. We’re all apart of the same community.

We’re primarily focused on inviting a more mature player-base at this stage, as we’re mostly wanting like-minded folks to join. This isn’t so much a restriction as it is a preference, as we don’t want to discriminate based on age.

The server pack comes from FTB Builder Paradise 2, version 1.20.1, with addons mod that doesn't exist in the original pack. Just download FTB Builder Paradise 2 and then paste the addon mods over to FTB BP2 mod folder.

The main theme of The Mousetrap is scarcity. At the start of the server (6/9/24) a world border of 500 x 500 blocks was set, and with every hour that passes the radius of the world border expands by 1 block. This forces players into close quarters with each other and creates scarcity in non-renewable items like diamonds and iron, and also makes open space and farmland more difficult to come by. As a result, the economy of items is much more interesting than it would be if you could easily obtain resources by walking a thousand blocks in one direction. It also encourages building tall instead of wide, so expect some skyscrapers once the server gets going. The only real rules on this server have to do with hacking or cheating, theft and killing is allowed, however our plugin system, mainly Lands, allow players to easily claim small sections of land to protect themselves, their possessions, and their builds. As your lands become more developed, you can form nations and even declare war on other lands. The server also uses Essentials Economy, with a diamond standard ($1 = 1d, you can exchange one for the other at any time). We have 4 servers one Mcmmo survival based and an Hardcore survival In this two servers gamers have the possibility to rankup after Mcmmo power and on the other one Money from Jobs and XP. This will give andtaveges on both servers and on the Creative server in witch we have An open creative world an survival creative world, Plot world and IslandWorld.

The last one is our Vanilla – you can play here on a little area but If you want to play beside the border you will have to contact us on discord.
