Welcome to The Experiment!

Here is the basic premise:
This is not just your normal everyday SMP, the world border is only 500×500, There is one end portal, but it is inside the Ancient city, and is next to a Warden Spawner.

The Goal:
Be the first player to get the “With Our Powers Combined” achievement (by collecting all 3 of the froglights from the 3 froglight dungeons.
Reward:
A new minecraft account
(After someone has achieved the goal the server can carry on as a semi-normal SMP, (until season 2))

Rules:
1. No Xraying, Texture or otherwise
2. No Swearing
3. Don’t make loud noises on VCs
4. Whilst playing only be on this server’s VCs
5. No Hacking
6. Found froglights can only be kept in your inventory or placed on the ground
7. Froglights are not allowed to be in ender chests!
8. No Bullying
9. Make sure it stays friendly (No broken Friendships) (If you have to pick between staying friends or winning, pick friends)
10. Have fun!

A short summary
The KnarCraft Minecraft server was originally created in 2011, and was then just called Knar World. It was quite active in 2012-2013, but due to various factors, it wasn’t feasible for me to keep hosting it 24/7. It has been online periodically, and it’s been updated for every version from Minecraft 1.0 to Minecraft 1.18. Some buildings and creations have been lost to time, but the original KnarWorld map is still a part of the server. The survival map is a new one created on 1.17. The PlotWorld world is the same old one, including the buildings from the ancient Freebuild. The hub was created to have a place for minigames and arenas, and features working versions of arenas from KnarWorld.

The KnarCraft BungeeCord networkKnarCraft changed from Multiworld to BungeeCord in 2013 to allow unique plugins for each world and for better performance on multi-core CPUs.
The servers are tied together using my fork of Stargate, which is also used for navigation on the servers.
HubThe Hub server is the server every new player arrives at. It’s the server used for minigames, pvp and parkour. It currently has four PVP arenas, two mob arenas, two CTF arenas, a Spleef arena and a BlockHunt minigame.
CommandsThe Hub server has clickable signs for joining minigames, but if you for some reason want to, or need, to manually join a minigame, here’s the basic commands:

/ pa join – Used to join a PVPArena arena

/ma join – Used to join a MobArena arena

/bh join – Used to join BlockHunt

SurvivalThe Survival server is a basic Survival server using factions as the main method for protection. Citizens and mcMMO are used to add some RPG elements as well. Factions don’t expire, so you don’t need to worry about your faction disappearing if you haven’t played for a week.

While Factions is used to protect land, you can lock chests by right-clicking them with a sign.
CommandsThe survival world has a bunch of commands, but here are some of the important ones:

/f create – Used to create a new faction

/f claim one – Used to claim a chunk for your faction

/spawn – Used to go to the spawn

/home – Used to go to your home

/sethome – Used to set your home

/back – Used to go back after teleporting to spawn or a player

/tpa – Used to request teleportation to a player

/qs journal – Used to get your quest journal. Some NPCs can offer quests

PlotWorldPlotWorld is the creative server. As the name implies, you choose a plot and can build whatever you want inside that plot. Each plot is 500×500 blocks. You can use WorldEdit inside your plot, though there is a block limit to prevent lag.
CommandsPlotWorld has relatively few plugins compared to the other servers, but some important commands exist:

/plot claim – Used to clam the plot you’re standing in, assuming it’s available

/plot auto – Used to automatically claim a random empty plot

/plot home – Used to go to your plot from anywhere in PlotWorld

/spawn – Used to go to the spawn

KnarWorldThe KnarWorld server features the original world from 2011. This was turned into a showcase world after some major griefing. After the new terraint generation in 1.18 though, KnarWorld has been expanded with new 1.18 terrain. While you can only look at things in survival within the original KnarWorld, it’s been made possible to freely build in Creative outside the original areas.
CommandsKnarWorld has the following useful comands:

/spawn – Used to go back to the spawn

/fly – Used to toggle fly mode

/speed – Used to set walking speed if walking and fly speed if flying

/warp – Used to warp to various locations

/gamemode – Used to switch between survival and spectator mode

The Hardhome Games is now officially an ongoing original smp game experiment I am happy to be hosing on my server network sanctuary as a welcome addition to our lineup of servers, this Anarchy-themed Limited Resource Hardcore smp game mode is built to challenge players with a need for more high stakes and unforgiving multiplayer experience. With a small 500×500 map and three lives that reset once a week players are forced to survive in a dangerous and ever changing environment that forces those that return to the games every week to use their ender chest and player backpack as a bank to bring items with them across games giving them powerful advantages over new players in order to survive. like any game it is played for points and at the end of every week the three players with the highest Kill counts (aka lives earned) will be rewarded and added to the leader-boards. Aside from the rules below and general TOS of all platforms and upholding general decency this is intended to be an almost player run game with little input and rules from the outside moderators as possible and there will intentionally never be a pay to win feature for lives, once you are dead for the week you are dead and must wait until the next week to hop back in, the economy along with the bounty system, jobs, and trading that exists within the game is intended to be entirely freeform and player run so there will never be a given value for any item in the game. Official Rules And Premise (10/14/21)

Everything on Clover Fields has been and is made in vanilla survival and our plugins are available to see. The overworld border extends out to 8000 and 1000 in the Nether, anything modified past that can be reset; however, the entire server worlds are reset for major Minecraft updates. You must /apply to be greylisted before playing and building.

1 – Do not build anything or modify terrain within spawn, the 500×500 square around 0, unless given permission from staff!

2 – Do not modify any player-owned structures or land that do not belong to you unless the property owner has specified otherwise!

3 – Do not edit any player-owned containers that do not belong to you unless the property owner has specified otherwise!

4 – Do not exploit glitches like item duping or use hacks like xray, auto-build, and kill-aura to gain unfair advantages over others! See the official list of allowed modifications on our Discord before asking if one is allowed, a few authorized mods include Optifine, certain mini-maps, Schematic mods, and crafting tools like JEI.

5 – Do not bully or harass other players, examples of this include spamming the chat, trying to lag the server, and PvP without mutual agreement! Friendly shenanigans, on the other hand, are fine in some cases.

Unlike traditional HG arenas, this map is incredibly interactive. There are several hundred command blocks hidden behind the scenes running countless traps, secrets, and easter eggs. There are two loot tables for chests on the map, with rarer items appearing in harder to find chests.

Welcome to Minecraft Canvas, or Minecraft Canvas Flammable, abbreviated: MCF. MCF is a minecraft server that started on August 16, 2023, with the intent to never reset its map, never perform economy resets (unlike THAT server), provide a limitless world with almost no rules, and adding features that other servers like this don’t have.

To be more elaborate on “almost no rules” We allow hacks that don’t give a player movement/combative advantage in the game. E.g, we wouldn’t allow hacks like Speed, Reach, or Kill Aura, but we allow hacks like X-ray & Baritone.

Do not:

– Use hacks that give you, or give another player, a movement/combative advantage.
– Intentionally cause lag to the server.

To make this server different from other semi-anarchy/vanilla servers like this, We add data packs & plugins that don’t drastically change the authentic, vanilla aspect of minecraft. At the moment, we have, or will be adding Pre 1.16 Fishing, Customizable Armor Stands, Skin changers, Un-craftable items have a crafting recipe (WIP), and much more.

In the future, we will be hosting in-game community events that will be including prizes. These prizes could include long term in-game cosmetics, Discord Nitro, or even real life cash. It’s a way to say thank you to our members to be so dedicated to this community. Something we’re doing, right now, is rewarding our players for voting. The 3 top voters at the end of the week will be rewarding with name tag related cosmetics. #3 gets an italic name-tag, #2 gets a bold name-tag, and finally, #1 gets a Colored/Bold name-tag. Also, for voting, a player has a 50% chance of obtaining 3 Steak & 5 XP bottles.

So, what are you waiting for? We support Java & Bedrock, and is so new, that the Ender Dragon might still be alive to take! On join, you will be *offered* an optional beginner’s kit to take. We run on 25 GB of ram, so you wouldn’t have to worry about any world generation issues. Keep in mind that since the server is new, there won’t be too many players, so don’t be dismotivated to play! Instead of quitting, you can help the server by:

– Sharing it on any minecraft server related thread.
– Sharing it on Discord servers, as long as it doesn’t break any rules of the server.
– Voting! We could make it to the top of a server list just by people voting.
– Sharing it on social media, specifically TikTok because, it is the most active platform with tons of MC players.
