Respawn times are altered by your cause of death – if you die to the curse, you may wait up to 30 minutes before respawning. Slay armies of skeletons at night to obtain echo shards, which protect you from losing your items after you die, or forge golden armor that lights monsters aflame and temporarily defends you from the bleak shadows.
Explore altered worldgen with overhauled structures, biomes, and dungeons. Enjoy a completely modified mob spawning system, with monster spawning patterns that differ from vanilla Minecraft. Most mechanics were written in-house specifically for DarkTerra; you cannot get the same experience on any other server.
