Source Realms is a geopolitics Nations SMP where nations rise, ally, trade, and go to war. Found your own nation, claim territory, build a government, and shape the map through diplomacy or take it by force if that is more your style. If you have ever wanted a proper civilization and nations setup with real stakes, this is the kind of server it is.
War sessions run in fixed weekly slots on Fridays from 18:00 to 00:00 UK time, with the full breakdown kept in the wiki and info channel. Wars are session-based and admin-reviewed, so land and reparations actually matter, instead of everything being random chaos all the time.
The server runs on 1.21.x, with 1.21.11 native support and Java plus Bedrock crossplay. It uses a completely custom map, a full nations system with claims, roles, permissions, and a shared bank, plus diplomacy options like alliances, NAPs, defense and aggression pacts, and foreign aid. You can go neutral and build peacefully, or lean into war and territorial control.
There is also a 5-skill progression system with earned capstones like Netherite, Shulker Boxes, Totems of Undying, Mending, and Enchanted Golden Apples. Gold comes from mining and loot only, so mob-farm shortcuts are not the way here. Add in Simple Voice Chat, a live interactive web map with click-to-claim, and a full player wiki for every system, and you have a pretty complete nations experience.
