Java and Bedrock crossplay is enabled, and Lantern SMP runs on 1.21+. This is a community-focused survival server built around a pretty simple idea: make a permanent world where people can build, hang out, and keep the same world for the long haul.
The overworld will never be reset. As the server grows, the world border will expand while existing builds and player history stay intact. If you like long-term projects, shared towns, and actually seeing a world evolve over time, that's the whole point here.
Lantern is meant to stay friendly and chill. Griefing, stealing, cheating, and toxic behavior are not allowed, and land claiming helps you protect your builds. CoreProtect is also in place so damage can be checked and restored if something goes wrong. Useful stuff like player warps, a live map, RTP, homes, teleport requests, proximity voice chat, optional PvP, mob heads, custom cosmetics, and voting rewards are all part of the server too.
The server is actively developed with custom plugins, and community feedback helps shape what gets added next. There are no gameplay advantages or overpowered kits here, just a long-term survival world where everyone starts on equal footing and can build something that lasts.
