Who/What is Vanilla Spice Minecraft server?

Vanilla Spice is a Vanilla+ Minecraft server aimed at providing a Vanilla experience, with some added ‘spice’ through quality-of-life datapacks & plugins. We see ourselves as a safe & inclusive space, and will not tolerate any hate speech etc.

What are we looking for?

We are looking to build a solid community and play together on both solo + group projects.

You don’t have to be an expert builder / redstoner etc to join – just have the drive to get involved and have fun! We are all happy to spread our knowledge and help each other out.

Why choose Vanilla Spice?

We are aiming to have a Vanilla+ Minecraft experience, with a friendly and inclusive community. There are some quality-of-life changes, as well as a couple of ‘extra features’, but nothing aiming to take too much away from the Vanilla experience.

Things to note:

Long term map – with a border expansion per new version.

Shopping District (diamond-based economy)

Games island (for minigames etc)

Nether paths between points of interest and bases (built entirely in survival).

You can team up with other players for farms/bases if you like, but this is entirely optional.

A ‘home base’ is not required if you prefer to play as a wanderer.

We have experienced as well as new players, and try to include everyone in projects etc.

Shopping District/Games Island are still under construction, as the map has recently started – and we are looking for help with these!

Who are we?
We are a java (premium) and bedrock minecraft server that prides ourselves in having a close, inclusive, and welcoming community. The server was created in April 2020 and we released to the public in July 2020 and have been going strong ever since. We have a regular playerbase ranging from 10-30 people or more depending on the time of day. We also have 2200+ people in the discord!

What do we offer?
We currently are a survival based network! We have two different survival servers to offer; Neptune and Saturn survival. Neptune survival has a more “modded” feel, there is land claiming (griefing is not allowed), pvp is only in the designated arena, and many quality of life plugins such as backpacks, marriage, night acceleration, and more. Saturn survival is for those who want an almost entirely vanilla survival experience. Griefing, stealing, and killing is all allowed anywhere on the server and there are very few plugins. There are only a few things such as homes and teleportation to other players. We also have a creative gamemode on the server and the popular mini game: survival games!

Why should you join?
Our main goal is to make sure that everyone is having a good time and feels comfortable on the server. We are not p2w, we are LGBT+ friendly, and we emphasize community involvement. We host monthly contests and drop parties to get the community engaged and show our appreciation. Although we do offer paid ranks, none of it is pay to win. We are always looking for more people to join our friendly community, especially if you are looking for something long term!

In 1.20.1, Stack of Grass Season 2, is a smallish server hosted in Australia with intent to have a close knit community with a focus on socialising and world building!

So, in short, what makes us different?

Player Base:

Whitelisted. Preferably 18+, we are looking for a chill ambiance on the server. This is the ideal server if you are looking for something calm with mature people.

The Gameplay:

Stack of Grass is trying to offer a "Vanilla+++" feeling to the world of Minecraft by adding Mods that enhance the building and adventuring world with several ways to progress through the game! The main feature mods on the server are “Ars Nouveau”, “The Graveyard”, “Chipped”, and “Mystical Agriculture”. There are a few QoL mods such as “Sophisticated Backpacks”, “Sophisticated Storage”, “Farmer’s Delight”, and “Waystones”. You can, therefore, expect A LOT more food, and A LOT of decorative items to make your area as attractive as possible!

The Commands:

Player have access to /home /sethome and other teleporting commands. Waystones are also available.

The In-Game Social:

We have integrated a proximity voice chat to the game for ease of communication, so a mic is a plus! Stack of Grass is trying to create a heavy emphasis toward community building in the sense of town building. Players are rewarded for establishing towns and creating "town building".

The Server Life:

Admins on Stack of Grass are adding scripted Dungeons. Rewards upon completion will be newly available after a few minutes. Gather your friends and take on the challenge we are creating to open various treasure chests and get that sweet, sweet loot! We are also making little events for everyone to enjoy and get the community together.

Edit: Just as a general note, this is not a new server and this season has been running since early April, 2024. Hi!

Survival MP Server. Semi Vanilla, Semi Roleplay, Semi Anarchy.

I made a server for a few friends a while back, they can't play as much as they used to and so I figured it would be fun to allow others to play on it as well. I have started to learn datapack/commandblock making so the server has a few minigames/dimensions that should be pretty fun, hoping to add more or have players join who eventually want to build their own minigames into the hub world!!! There is a pretty cool roleplay based dimension that has implications server wide I don't want to spoil 🙂 Basic concept is the Magical barriers that separate Minecraft's dimensions/time periods are weakening and allowing things to start to crossing these barriers [Lore Friendly]

Rules: No Hacking, I'd say 0 griefing in the creative dimension? Xray won't work. Otherwise I don't really have any XD, no like super awful comments to people I guess, cyberbullying, you know what I mean.

I intend the server to be a casual experience, smaller group of people, semi anarchy, semi roleplay, survival multiplayer server. There are reasons for factions to develop fairly organically I think. I hope we can make an order out of chaos. I might make it into a whitelist at some point.

I am open to suggestions to changing/tweaking the server. If players form groups/bases I will provide Password Protected portals for them to allow easy access to and from the Hubworld to their Survival Bases

With regular backups on my end. This is something that always bugs me when I play on servers, I am willing to provide the world file to players if they want to record their builds etc, basically I don't want you to feel like you will lose progress you put into the server because I have felt that way in the past.

Why us?

We are aiming this project to become a full functioning world, with people made cities, cultures, religions, guilds and much more! We wanna see how far we can go from absolute 0 into creating a thriving world. We are slowly building bases, lore, experimenting with more content. If you like to start things from almost nothing and make something great while surrounded by like minded people – our server is perfect for you!

We are a very small community, eager to find about 40 active and chill players for our world and friend group. Let's create a thriving civilization!!

A world, that's not being wiped or restarted often. Meaning your progress will stay for long (infinite) time! We will only restart for 1.21, and move from there.

Who are we?

The Federation is a well established adult community across multiple games and genres since 2018. In Minecraft we are a small and super friendly community, looking for new friends! All of the people currently playing are friendly, always down for a chat and create overall warm environment.

If you are overwhelmed by big servers, with p2w mechanics and bunch of features – you will not find it here. We do have plugins and features, but its all to make game feel a little more exploration and adventure based, as well helping server builders with integrating shop to acquire resources with INGAME currency.

Minecraft server information

This server is accessible to everyone who applies in our community discord. Server is on 1.20.2, does not require to install any mods, meaning you can log in without any issues as long as your account is valid (not cracked). UPDATE: server will be updated to 1.21 once all of our plugins will update.

Several of the plugins are: Terralith, McMMO, Economy, Blaze and caves advancement pack, Mob heads, DiscordSRV, Dynmap plugin with a claim system, Vanilla structures updated, mob heads and more! We also have roleplay guidelines, to delay endgame and increase overall fun time in game!

Client sided mods are definitely allowed, as long as its not exploiting the game, like xray for example.

Current community

We have active admins, who help players instantly, solve issues and bugs. Content is being updated the minute updates come out. Constant testing is being performed. If you have any issue, even if its a silly death, we will always help you out.

Since this project is very new, the community is still small, but that's the reason why YOU could look forward to join us! Our community are mature grown ups, from all sides of the world, bonded together by the passion of playing video games together. We are exceptionally known to care for each other, help out whenever we can, and since the community is not massive, you can be sure that you will receive a warm welcome and find people to talk to anytime.
