Gone is the regular and boring player shop where players can just buy everything. Now you can browse through shops created by players themselves! And that’s not all!

Resource World

This endless stream of resources can become very handy when running out of it. It will resets itself every week so make sure you don’t start to build your empire there.

Unique Death System

We already developed a unique death system in the previous season but weren’t too enthusiastic about it, it was missing the one thing we have added now. Gravestones!

Supply Drops

Supply drops occur in the warzone and are a fantastic way to provide your players with extra action but also items that you can hardly find yourself. So it’s definitely worth the fight!

Can’t get rid of your stuff? See if the black market is interested in it. This market will give you the opportunity to sell your stuff. It will refresh its interest every day.

The scene is set in Arcadia aka Utopia, referencing a place in Greek mythology that is presented as a city where man and nature live in harmony or a natural paradise. This is also symbolic of the “innocence” and current technological capabilities of Arcadia.

Welcome to Artemisa private application based SMP server with an emphasis on performance and 100% vanilla parity.

Everything you see in the server was built from the ground up to achieve these goals. ALL of the plugins, paper fork, discord features, website, server, and various other internal tooling was made just for this. Custom from top to bottom.

After a long hiatus and successful season 3, we've decided to continue doing this for the long term with the introduction of season 4. Below you will find some key information about our server, quality of life changes, and what has been done to keep it as close to vanilla as possible.

Season information and quality of life changes:

Chaos a custom Paper fork with a few optimizations.

Latest, 1.21.1 Java. Bedrock is currently unsupported.
Online server map
Full server backups + full rollback support of any user action/grief.
COMPLETELY vanilla tracking/activation ranges (128 blocks / 10 chunk simulation distance)
Full anti-cheat + anti-xray.
Almost every vanilla exploit is re-enabled and re-implemented including: sand/gravity duping, tnt duping, string duping, bedrock break, piston changes and more.
Enderman visually pick up blocks but do not physically pick them up.
There is no store, paid ranks, or p2w mechanics labeled as "perks".
The render distance is 20+ chunks, far more than most other servers. Making it very easy to see far out.
Mobs don't despawn going through Nether portals, improving portal farm compatibility.
Shulkers have a 1/4 or 25% chance of dropping an ADDITIONAL shulker shell when killed by a player, this does not affect the looting enchantment. This change is to allow more people to get shulker boxes globally.
With /filter you can enable/disable ANY block/item from being picked up. Example, add unwanted blocks like andesite, cobble, and you will never fill up your inventory with junk.
When the server is restarted, players will be automatically reconnected to the SMP allowing for AFK.

Alysia SMP aims to be an LGBTQ+ friendly survival vanilla+ multiplayer community devoted to having fun together. We're focused on player communication and having a player-driven server. Our mods aim to improve the experience for new and veteran Minecraft players by adding things like:

Proximity voice chat
Farmer's delight (Alongside other cooking mods)
Small content updates that add more to do!
QoL mods, such as Jade and JEI. All of the mods are meant to encourage socialization and adjust small things that are either broken in Minecraft or could be better!
Nothing too big in terms of mods, don't worry.

Everything that is happening in the server is a community driven effort, we are constantly adapting our server to fit the needs of the community, the mods selected and added to the server are community picked and voted on.

Since the start of the server, many different groups have been made, most if not all willing to lend a hand, explain things or help you in any way you might need. The community has come together to make some mob farms, a community farm, a big shopping district and a lot more. Currently we're looking at 5-10 players on the server usually at a time, from many different timezones and parts of the world. There's always SOMEONE that's around!

Alysia 1.0 closed off with a great success, where we all met a ton of new people and got to have a lot of different groups and neighbors to have fun with. If you're coming in solo or with a small group there's always space for you somewhere <3

Custom World

The map of Alathra is completely custom, designed from scratch using a combination of tools to encourage exploration trade and geopolitics. The world consists of continents separated by oceans and is divided into four temperature zones. Along with enhancements to vanilla biomes, the map also includes many new biomes such as red sand deserts, tropical beaches, calcite mountains, giant spruce forests, mangrove islands, prairies, steppes and more! There are also landmarks that can be found throughout the map including volcanoes, salt flats and underground rivers.

Custom Plugins

Alathra has its own dedicated team of developers who are consistently develop new plugins and features that give Alathra a unique feel that we guarantee you won't find on other servers. Some examples include lockpicking, a custom war system, character cards, medieval weapons, a fast travel port system, regional resources and so much more!

Movecraft

Movecraft is a plugin that allows you to create moveable ships, from small fishing boats to large Man o' Wars! Fill your ships with chests for trade or line them with cannons for war. The version of Movecraft Alathra uses is also specifically written and configured to allow for naval combat.

Brewing

The Brewery plugin allows you to create many different interesting brews as well as the many custom brews that have been made by players. Become your town's barkeeper! Experiment to see how many of hundreds of custom brews you can discover.

We have quite a few custom passive and aggressive mobs, including sharks, giant squid, deer, elephants, moles and boars.

Season 5 of Refuge SMP launched on 4/13 and was updated to 1.21.1 on 9/13. This is a long, ongoing season that still has some major events and activities in the works and plenty of space to build and explore! What kind of server is Refuge?

We are a Java SMP using the Bloom Hosting platform with admins/owners located in the US and AUS, so there will always be staff around to help! A full list of the QoL mods and vanilla tweaks we use is available in Discord. We have a casual player base of very friendly and welcoming avid Minecraft players ranging from age 18 to 35 and located in Australia, the Netherlands, Canada, the UK, and the US. Understanding that everyone has a life outside of gaming, there is no minimum activity requirement. Just come and chill when you like (:

Following the traits of Hermitcraft season 9, we strive to be a community-orientated server that stays somewhat close together. The idea is that groups are formed so that each time you log in something new is happening on the server, rather than an SMP where everyone is distant and antisocial. We don’t plan much of an economy and prefer to share resources; however, shops are always welcome and we typically do create a shopping district/area.

A donation page is set up via PayPal for the server to help with costs and go towards future upgrades, with in-game cosmetic gifts for donors (these do not affect the actual gameplay or mechanics). Donations are very much appreciated but in no way required for any activity on the server.
