Admins cannot punish players until a vote is held. Punishment appeals can be made on the Discord server (as of now, this does not exist yet).

ZillaSMP is set in a time between King Alfred the Great's death, and the formation of England; just as King Alfred's kingdom of Wessex took its last stand against the vikings.
